Keepers Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Davidson

Traveling on the road with my 12 year old, we wanted some nice homemade lunch and not some franchise. So we decided on Keepers. What a mistake that was.

First, I sliced my leg open from some metal rods under the table. Next the waitress brought us menus and stood over us while we looked and made our decision. Totally made us felt rushed and as if we were inconveniencing her. We ordered a rueben with soup and a chicken ceasar wrap with poutine.

My soup was like glue it was so thick. Obviously been cooking for days. My rueben was missing thousand island and the corned beef was terrible.

My son enjoyed the poutine, but when he went to eat the wrap it was DRIPPING from so much salad dressing. It wasn't even edible. We tried to flag down our waitress but no one ever came back to check on us.

Stay clear of this place and find a better homestyle restaurant so you don't waste your money and leave hungry...

Driving from Regina to Saskatoon and needed a place to Stop for lunch. This is basically half way and the timing was good. Read the reviews before we set out and they did not disappoint. We had two liver and onions for seniors. You don’t get this everywhere so we had it. Cooked perfectly. Arrived quickly once we ordered. No fuss here. Server got us seated, gave us Menus, took our orders. It’s located in the Shell station adjacent to and on the west side of the hi-way. Retro 60’s tables and chairs. First walking in to the restaurant, it’s very clean and unique. This place was packed for lunch and I began second guessing myself if I should have stopped since I was short on time. The waitress sat us down immediately, took our drink orders and away she went. Within seconds she was back with our drinks, we still needed a few moments to decide our meals. As soon as our menus were closed she came to take our order, less than 10 minutes after our orders were placed we had fresh, hot amazing food in front of us.
