Best Haitian food I have ever had. My husband is Haitian, and we have been to restaurants in both Toronto and Montreal, and this is the best we have had! Portions were amazing and everything was so fresh. They were a very sweet family and you can tell the food is made with love. To everyone complaining about the price, I found it reasonable given the quality and portion. Do you complain at high end restaurants about an $80 steak? No. Support local businesses who are taking the time and dedication to share their culinary experiences with you. Merci Caribbean Latino Restaurant!

We tried to go to a Jamaican restaurant on 118 Ave, but it was closed. So, we tried this one because it was just a few blocks away. I had the fried pork, rice/beans, and fried plantains. It was quite tasty. My only complaint was some confusion on the price. The meal pictured here was listed in the menu for $23. But when I went to pay it was $30. I questiones this and was told the rice had been upgraded. I hadn't asked for this upgrade, but decided to leave it alone. Food was good, but this is not a great way to get repeat customers.

Wandered over to this restaurant with a group of 4 of us and we were welcomed with a friendly smile and told to sit down and they would come to the table to take our order. Sweetest ladies served us and the fried goat, chicken, red fish snapper and pork were all great!! The restaurant is small but you can tell that there is a lot of love in their food. A good home cooked carribean meal is just what the doctor ordered!!

We recently visited the Caribbean Latino Restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, making the trip all the way from Red Deer. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations due to unclear pricing and poor communication.

The menu advertised grillot and fried pork with sides for $19.99 and fish with sides for $24.99. However, when it came time to pay, we were charged $30 for the fish because we were told it was a "big fish," $20 for a small portion of grillot (without all the sides), and $15 for a small portion of fried pork (also without all the sides). Additionally, cola bottles listed at $3 on the menu were suddenly $4 because they were "larger," which we agreed to pay.

When we questioned the unexpected price increases, we were told that the menu prices would be updated soon. This approach to pricing is misleading and not a good way to build trust or encourage repeat business.

We were excited to try this restaurant, but the lack of transparency and value made it a disappointing experience. Sadly, we will not...

Real good hole-in-the-wall spot. I ordered the goat 3x3 dish, goat was very yummy. Tender and crispy in the right places, bones had marrow and little bones were brittle. Cooked well. The potato salad is a good texture, chunky and filling. If you have extra meat dipping sauce mix it with the rice it's very yummy. I don't like coleslaw usually but I tried the coleslaw here to get out of my comfort zone and I was very happy I did. It tasted good with mixed bites of red bean rice. Will try mushroom rice next time I come back. I see the Instagram ads for this spot occasionally, so happy I came here.

A bit expensive compared to Asian cuisine what I usually eat but worth the price, lots of work into the food and it's looks like a...
