Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Bancroft

Worst service I’ve had at any Timmies. Went here twice in the past 2 days. First time wasn’t so bad - waited only 5 minutes at the drive thru speaker before anyone took my order. Then as I was making my order the lady was quite rude, telling me “hold on, hold on, hold on” because I guess I was ordering too fast for her. Not like she already had me wait at the speaker for 5 minutes…

Then today takes the cake. Drive thru was packed so I decided to go inside as I saw there were only 3 people in line. Before anyone took my order I waited more than 10 minutes. During the 15 minutes I waited for my 2 coffees I noticed both the place was understaffed and the manager arguing/raising her voice at staff that were actually there. One employee behind the counter was straight up walking around with his hands in his pockets. The employee making the food was doing it with absolutely no sense of urgency.

Me and some other customers actually started laughing when the man in front of me got into an argument with one of the staff; he ordered a large latte and instead received a drink with a teabag in it. Latte is not supposed to have tea. He told the employee, “I don’t think there’s supposed to be tea in that” and the employee insisted it was correct. The customer took it out to his wife and came back 30 seconds later demanding both a new latte, and the names of the employees (no one was wearing name tags). Horrible experience. I came through for lunch and the woman working cash (not sure of her name, as no one in this location wears a name tag) was extremely rude. She was an older lady with dark hair working the cash in-restaurant at around 2:30 PM on Saturday, April 30th.

She seemed extremely bothered when I asked her what the available soups were and she had to go check She told me "I don't know, I just put it in the register and it does what it does" when I asked if I could make a soup and sandwich combo with a breakfast sandwich -- I ended up going with a soup and bagel combo to be safe, as I've done this a million times before When I asked her if the Camp Foundation donation box was working to tap my credit card (I tapped and it didn't light up or make a noise, so I wasn't sure if it went through), she said to be, "How am I supposed to know? I don't know." She overcharged me on the combo, as she charged me for everything separately When I sat down to eat my soup, the lid wasn't closed properly and there was soup all over the bag, utensils, napkins, etc.

Later that day, as this is the only location in town, I stopped by to get a drink through the drive-thru on the way home and the younger man who opened the window was swearing at someone/something when he handed over my order. Again, no name tag, but he had a sparse moustache and was wearing sunglasses.

Super disappointed and will be avoiding this Tim Horton's and going out of my way to go to the location just coming into town,...

I have lived in the area for years. There are 2 tim hortons locations in town. This used to be the better one however, poor management and staffing choices have made it so I stopped going here altogether.

Whether you use the drive through or go inside, the wait is wayyy too long. Over the summer you could often see staff members standing around doing nothing while the restaurant was full of people waiting for food or drinks.

They almost never listen to your order anymore. Maybe 1 or 2 staff members can actually do their job there. If you order a large drink it's common to get a medium and be rudely refused when you ask for the large that you paid for.

No point in trying to ask for any modifications to your food or drinks (no tomato on a sandwich/wrap or extra cream in an iced cap) as they won't listen to them anyways.

Wraps and sandwiches always have different ingredients on them based on who made it. There is no consistency with what is in their food.

All in all it has slowly become the worst Tim hortons I've ever been to in terms of customer service and food quality. And it's only getting worse as...
