Get Roasted Café and Snack Bar — Restaurant in Barrie

Horrible. Do not go. Staff is very condescending and when I posted this review they did not try to make my experience better, instead they argued that I am wrong and it was my fault. They denied everything I said. It was extremely unprofessional as I said before. For 1. A child was managing the front counter for a long time while the adults were away in the back. They were standing around on phones when I arrived. They did not seem welcoming helpful or kind. I stand by my review and I’m baffled they told me to remove it because I did not enjoy my experience. I live around the corner and I would love to have a cafe within walking distance but it was such a bad experience I wouldn’t want other people to be disappointed as I was. Family members who live with me and have visited also say the same thing about it being sketchy. Atmosphere is so uninviting and awkward. It looks messy and furniture is all over the place. (Stacked on top of one another etc.) I went during the day so they weren’t closing or just opening. The wait was far too long considering I was the only person in store. I got matcha bubble tea and I’m not sure if they forgot to add matcha but it wasn’t green and did not taste good whatsoever. I did not bring it to their attention because I have never been there so how would I know it’s wrong until I left and tried it. Will NEVER return especially after their defensive response to my review. I will not delete this review as it is true and authentic. Businesses who ask customers to delete bad reviews obviously have no interest in improving their business for the satisfaction...

I also had a flyer on my car the other day, and it got stuck, which unpleasantly got stuck. After calling to tell them about what has happened, they took immediate action, and not only apologized but, came to my car and very professionally remove the stuck flyer-left-over. - Considering the speedy action as well as attention to detail to address my concerns, I decided to give them a visit. - I'm glad that I've not made a judgment based on "first impression"....

Their coffee... is AMAZING, but so are their other beverages.--- I love their "Mango-Slush" Their snacks... .are AMAZING, but so are their menu items. --- I can't even make up my mind... which one I love the most! Their staff.... is AMAZING.... and very personal, friendly. --- I also love the fact that they are also environmental cautious.

We pick up from Get Roasted often and love their breakfast sandwiches, lunches, vegan desserts like the apple cakes and so much more. Today we ordered from the Chinese menu and the food was incredible! Holy moly ! The pork fried rice was the best I’ve ever had, the pork spring rolls were so light and crispy, and the variety of sushi dishes was outstanding - California Rolls, Teriyaki Chicken Rolls….. all so delicious! Finally, forget about Starbucks and do yourself a favour and order the pineapple slush with the salted whipped topping. Absolutely heavenly! It’s maybe $9 per drink, but it might be the best $9 I’ve ever spent. I can’t say enough good things about the restaurant, the food, and the family who run it. Give this place a try - from breakfast to burgers, from Chinese & Sushi to dessert, we have always been...
