If there was an option for zero stars, I’d happily give that. I honestly don’t know how this place managed to get such “great reviews” — maybe from people who never actually ate here.
We waited for over an hour for our food, and when I politely asked about the delay, the server looked like she couldn’t care less. She barely listened, had no idea what she was serving, and didn’t even bother to mention what the dishes were. Ever heard of food allergies? Clearly not! She just dropped the plates on the table and walked away as if she was doing us a favour.
I ordered a lamb dum biryani, and wow — what a disaster. The rice was half-cooked, the lamb pieces were raw, and the taste? Let’s just say it didn’t even qualify as edible. I was starving — this was my first meal of the day — and I still couldn’t eat it. That’s how bad it was.
I came here trusting the positive reviews, but clearly, they were misleading at best and fake at worst. The entire experience — from service to food — was beyond disappointing.
To the owner and management: please, for the sake of your customers, train your staff in basic customer service and food handling. When people dine out, they expect to be treated decently and served properly cooked food — not ignored and handed undercooked meat.
Definitely not worth the wait, the money, or the frustration. Never returning, and I strongly suggest others think twice before wasting...
Read moreWe had a really poor experience at this branch of Amaya. To begin with, it took them almost 45 minutes to an hour after placing our order to serve the food. They served beverages long before the meal, so by the time food arrived, the cola had completely lost its gas.
Then came the sequence disaster — dessert was served before the main course, and starters came along with the main course. Only the Manchurian was somewhat good.
The rest of the food was below average:
Roti and tandoori roti were undercooked, with a thick layer of raw flour.
Paneer Lababdar, their recommended dish, was extremely sour — it felt like it was made entirely from tomato puree.
Malai Kofta was overly salty.
Paneer Bhurji was tasteless (too bland), and the salted lassi was again too salty — I actually had to mix it with the sabji just to balance the flavors.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience — poor coordination, inconsistent taste, and bad food quality. Definitely not expected from a...
Read more5 stars! Just had an incredible dinner at Amaya Real Indian Restaurant and I have to shout out our server Monty – what a legend! From the moment we sat down, his warm smile and genuine hospitality made us feel like family. He guided us through the menu with perfect recommendations, and every dish (the butter chicken was silky heaven, the lamb biryani fragrant and tender) arrived piping hot and bursting with authentic flavors. Monty checked in just the right amount, refilled our drinks without asking, and even shared a quick story about the chef’s secret spice blend. Exceptional food + top-tier service = a night we won’t forget. Thank you, Monty and Amaya – we’ll be...
