Terrible experience cross-contamination, poor hygiene, and unprofessional behavior
Today, my sister had an extremely upsetting experience at this Subway location. She ordered a sandwich and noticed right away that the staff were not changing their gloves between orders — a basic hygiene standard, especially with potential allergens involved. She didn’t say anything at the time, just wanted to grab her food and go.
Once she got home, she found pieces of olives hidden underneath the lettuce — something she didn’t ask for and something she strongly dislikes. Even more concerning, she lives with someone who is allergic to olives, so this kind of cross-contamination could have serious consequences.
She went back to the store to explain and request a refund. They told her she could come in for a replacement sandwich, but she no longer wanted food from there — her appetite was gone. When she handed back the sandwich, they threw it out right in front of her face and refused to refund the full amount. They even kept the extra charge for added cheese.
Worse, the tone quickly became aggressive and hostile. A staff member actually said, “Who do you think you’re playing with?” — a completely unacceptable and threatening response, especially towards a young woman who was alone. It was not only unprofessional but also deeply inappropriate.
To make matters worse, I had been in the store moments before and was ignored at the counter while another customer was helped ahead of me. The difference in treatment felt racially charged, and it’s hard not to feel that discrimination played a part in how we were treated.
Only after my sister mentioned contacting corporate did they finally issue a partial refund — but again, they refused to refund the full amount.
This Subway needs to be held accountable for its lack of food safety, poor customer service, and disrespectful behavior. I strongly urge others to be cautious when ordering from here, especially if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. This experience was unacceptable and disappointing on...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Subway. I ordered a sandwich and asked for just lettuce — but somehow, olives ended up in my food due to cross-contamination. I absolutely hate olives, and the worker didn’t even change gloves between customers, which is likely how it happened. On top of that, I saw what looked like a receipt in the ingredient bin — super unsanitary and careless. The whole place was dirty, and when I called to complain, they told me to come back and get a new sandwich. But honestly, my appetite was gone — I just wanted a refund. When I showed up, they ignored me until another customer asked for water. When I finally showed the sandwich and explained the situation, the employee looked at me and said “who are you playing with?” — like I was trying to scam them. It felt racially motivated and disrespectful. They only gave me a partial refund after I brought up corporate, and made me still pay for the extra cheese even though I didn’t touch the sandwich. The entire experience was humiliating and unprofessional. I’ll never be going back to this location, and I wouldn’t recommend...
