Fraser's Restaurant — Restaurant in Bay Roberts

We were trying to have super at Jungle Jim’s up the street and we were told there was a 45min wait for a seat. We decided since we’re out of town and with a little one we weren’t going to wait and started looking on google maps for an alternative. To our surprise we found this restaurant with good reviews and decided to give it a try. We had no wait at all. I will say there is no children’s menu, however between the four of us we had more then enough food to share with our little one.

2x orders of the 2pc fish n chips. 2x orders of the roast Turkey dinner.

Both were absolutely fantastic and the portions were incredible. If I had known we were going to have so much fish I would’ve gotten only the 1pc! Home/hand made fries!! Everything was amazing and we were so happy.

Excellent food, giant servings, friendly service. I had an amazing club sandwich with huge thick slabs of real turkey, a mound of handcut homemade fries, and a serving of coselaw. My dad had 'cod bites' which were each as big as his hand! There is a seniors menu of 1/2 servings which my mom appreciated. While we were there a blind, elderly woman who was obviously a regular came in and the server treated her with the utmost respect and kindness, helping her with her walker, telling her where her coffee was and what side her chicken and fries were on. Despite the exterior appearance and its location next to a.cannabis store, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and even recommended some local sights. They suggested that anything with fish would be very good and, boy, were they right. Not only were the cod cakes and fish and chips very large portions, the fish was fresh, tender and delicious. I waited to post this review until after finishing our 8 day tour of Newfoundland, and their fish was the best. Definitely...
