A&W Canada — Restaurant in Bedford

We have been here about 3 times since they opened and maybe last night was the last. We ordered one Teen Burger with onion rings and Root beer and one Mozza Burger with onion ring and Root beer. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we ordered right away to dine in. The table and the booth were both dirty, so we cleaned ourselves, the food came late, and we realized that the both of our onion rings were cold and too much seasonings on. We ate a bite, too much seasonings, too salty and too cold to eat. So we asked the person at the front to return these (full sizes) and if they could remake or change to French fries. After about 10 minutes, one fries were delivered to the table, but the other order was still missing, we thought the other one we asked to change was still coming, but never came. So we asked the front if our other order was still being made after we ate and she basically didn't respond to our questions and gave us an angry face, and some free French fries coupons. What did we do? We ordered onion rings, and paid extra for two orders of onion rings, not fries. No response nor apologize that they didn't give us what we ordered and paid. We left unsatisfied. We are here quite a few times from May to September as we had just moved into a new apartment building close by. There were an abundance of staff for some reason but no matter, the food was great. No complaints! By September, things had changed. We gave it 3 more chances...the 3rd's the charm...however, that didn't happen here. Staff seemed to be cut back which was good, in this case. Again, we asked for well-done bacon on our Teen Burgers and got "barely-done" bacon...I pulled it out by the disgusting under-cooked fat!! My husband's fries were cold and my onion rings...well, there were 6 in the bag, most of the batter was at the bottom of the bag. Even with take-out, we always go in to make sure they "listen and actually hear" what we order so no excuses. The lettuce in both burgers was the hard inner core part and had absolutely no taste. So, 3 times and you're out! We live about 2 minutes away and were hoping to frequent this A&W...sadly, we'll not be back. We'll be going back to the one near Bedford Commons...farther away, but they always get our order right and it's still hot when...

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this A&W location! It's a great spot to grab a bite to eat, with fair prices and delicious food. But what really sets them apart is their local flavors - the root beer is a must-try! It's brewed on-site and has a unique taste that's both refreshing and flavorful.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. I've tried a few different menu items, and everything has been tasty and satisfying. The burgers are juicy, the fries are crispy, and the chicken strips are tender and flavorful.

But it's the little touches that really make this place stand out. The retro decor is fun and nostalgic, and the outdoor seating area is a great spot to enjoy a meal on a nice day. And did I mention the root beer? It's seriously the best I've ever had!

Overall, I'm so impressed with this A&W location. It's a great choice for a quick and delicious meal, and the local flavors and friendly service make it a standout. Five stars and highly...
