The second I walked, in my sister exclaimed, ‘oh I’m excited now! It’s a mom and pop shop- that means it’s gonna be good!’

And it certainly was. The restaurant is simple in its set up and kept very clean.

We ordered the bento special. The chicken was excellent, the miso soup comforting, and the salad was fresh. The rolls were excellent as they are small treasures carefully prepared and presented. I prefer rolls with less rice so i can enjoy the flavors of the vegetable and fish.

I also enjoyed the Korean and Japanese elements. They have a range of dishes to suit any palette. I’m looking forward to coming back!

My review includes photos of: chicken teriyaki bento, Tantan (ramen), and the...

If you’re looking for a small, cozy restaurant which makes you feel like you are in a little town of Japan, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Cozy, family like atmosphere comes from the owner of the restaurant, which is a kind and friendly family.

I tried Nagasaki champong, tofu, and takoyaki. All of them were very good, made with fresh ingredients. They make each dish like how they would serve it to their own family.

I tasted some of the rolls that my friends got, and they were fresh and delicate as well.

This would be the kind of place where are you could just go by yourself and enjoy a home like meal, or go with your friends and have...

I personally always like to try takoyaki whenever I go, and this was exceptionally good takoyaki. I'm not sure if it's handmade in-store, but it sure tastes that way and it's really good! The outer layer was super crispy, while the inner contents stayed soft and chewy. The sushi was also well done and I don't normally like mochi but I thought I would give it a try this time. It was decent.

Overall, would come again and would...
