The terrace was lovely, quiet and pleasant and both the beer and the piña colada were solid. Unfortunately, the experience inside was a different story. The smell was awful, no idea what it was, but it really lingered. Even worse, the atmosphere between Toltek and the food restaurant sharing the space was tense and uncomfortable. Very cute spot, bright and airy. Surely the terrace looks nice - it was raining when we visited. They have a wood oven for pizzas. The mortadella with a pistachio pesto and crumble one was delicious. The spicy peach burrata was just a tad disappointing... it was wet in the middle. Not the best textural experience. Tables were almost all dirty when we got there even though we were maybe six clients in the place. Service was ok. The real showstoppers are the beers, for sure. If you enjoy fruity citrusy new england style beers , this place has a lot of such options. Toltèk does give you a simple artistic vibe. Obvious selection of brewery snacks with a good variety of refreshing beers this probably will be a nice place to hangout in summers on the patio. You can also purchase merchandise and some of their popular beers in can at site. The pricing is a bit on the higher side compared to other breweries in and around South shore of Montreal.
