Had checked the reviews prior to stopping here for lunch. Restaurant was full and there was a line up to order, not an issue for us. Ordered a lobster roll & scallops for my husband and a cheeseburger with bacon for myself plus an order of homemade fries to share. We had brought our corgi, so knew we would be eating outside. They have numerous clean picnic tables for patrons. My husband's lobster roll & scallops were delicious according to him and from what I saw, they did look good. The lobster roll was served on a hotdog sized bun. ($17.99) (I have an allergy to both lobster & scallops, so cannot eat them. :( ) My burger was missing the cheese (which I had paid for) and was also so over-cooked that it was dry and hard. I had also paid extra for bacon on my burger and it was the teeniest, tiniest slice of bacon I have ever seen. The homemade fries looked good, BUT they were cold and soggy. I couldn't understand this. The restaurant had one empty table and there was a constant moving line up for take out orders, the fries should have been fresh and hot. 3 stars for the seafood and 0 stars for the...

Day and time of visit: June 27, 2025 @5:00pm. A fair number of places to park. Bathrooms available. Cashier only, no table service. A fair amount of seating. Cashier Rene (on the receipt) was fairly friendly. One of the people handing out the food did it with a smile. You do not get that often. A fair number of people were ahead of me. Wait time before ordering was around 5 minutes. There was a 30-minute wait for food. It seems like a long time, but maybe it’s their first real weekend of the summer or our timing (right at 5) that slows down food wait times. But I think it was worth it for the prices and the recommendation, especially a small poutine with fresh-cut fries and in-house-made gravy (pictured)! I also shared a pirate platter (also pictured), and the scallops were juicy with a light crispy coating. The fish was the same!...

Happened upon this great seafood restaurant during our latest outing. Orders are taken at their front counter and picked up once customers given tag number is called. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 fish dinner meal. Way too many deliciously crunchy fries, even shared amongst my lovely wife Pat. Hate wasting but we did complete the remainder of our meals. My fish was pure white, flakey and fresh. Their crunchy batter really kept the heat in. Pat said the scallops melted in her mouth. Though she prefers scallops cooked with a buttery coating, she did not mind the light coating of crunch. Shrimp was divine. Plenty of seafood in their fridge and freezer areas for take-home. Fair pricing and gracious hosts. Very clean eating areas and plenty of parking. Great seafood dining with the bonus of being just across the road from a major...

Pirate de la Mer, Bouctouche, NB. Fish Fryday, a late lunch. We didn't visit our first time in the area, taken care of now. We each had a fish & chips snack, 2 pieces of haddock. Shared an order of fried mussels (left) & fried clams (right). A few reserved & we generally can't finish all the fries. Also on menu for next time lobster rolls & crab rolls + fried shrimp & scallops.
