Rating this 3/5 solely due to the service received. The food was actually pretty good - a little pricy for the quantity but I understand with covid price increases going on. The only downside was the service received from the waitress (in black glasses) I called later and they said her name was Gulshan. They unfortunately refused to offer tap water and offered only bottle water. The waitress stated that since we didn't drink alcohol we aren't entitled to tap water.. she said I'm not suppose to but I'm giving you one water and didn't provide any more for the company I had.. especially in our beautiful Punjabi culture.. paani ee aa hor kuj nhi mngeya.. but that's ok I think giving tap water to patrons shouldn't be a big deal..but if the restaurant doesn't want to that's up to them..but even if refusing, upkeeping a positive customer experience should be more important than attitude to anyone in the restaurant industry.. at the end when providing service she kept up with an attitude.. there seems to be other reviews in regards to their service too.. if you don't want to work in customer service don't, but don't ruin the mood for people just wanting to eat. I recently visited king tandoori with high hopes of enjoying a delightful seafood meal, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. As an avid seafood enthusiast, I was eager to indulge in their fish dishes, but the quality of the fish served was extremely disappointing.Upon sampling the fish, it became apparent that it was not fresh and had an unpleasant, off-putting taste. The texture was mushy and lacked the firmness that is characteristic of well-prepared fish. It was evident that the fish had not been handled or stored properly, leading to a significant decline in its quality.In addition to the subpar quality of the fish, the overall presentation and flavor of the dishes were lackluster. I had not only one but 2 incidents at this locations. Firstly, they made my pickup order wrong and when i asked them to’ chnage they denied and forced me to take the same thing. They did not give me any refund or any remake instead argued in rough language. I had to give up the food and leave. Secondly after months I tried to give this location another chance but they failed. While dine in I asked for water they said they don’t serve water. I have to buy a bottle. Then we waited for 45 minutes for our food and asked again for water as the food hasn’t arrived yet. An uncle simply said we can’t give you tap water. Just buy a bottle. I have never seen anyone in Canada since past 7 years get refused to use washroom or get tap water in restaurant place. This place really needs to be checked out.
