Pizza 2020 — Restaurant in Brampton

I ordered online from this place and got there around the amount of time for the pizza to be ready. Then waited a good 5-6 minutes after. Walked in and my pizza wasn’t even being made. The oven was off. I was told it would take 6 minutes to make when asked (I knew they were lying) n just decided to wait it out. About 15 mins later I got my pizza and walk out ready to go home. But should’ve trusted my feeling about the man in the duo handling the last stage of the pizza. Mainly because he spent the last 20 mins I have been in and around the store, talking to two people. I open the box to see not only is it not thick crust as ordered, but he left his napkin on it. Bye to those slices.

UPDATE: They called me multiple times throughout the week to come in so they can right their wrongdoing (which they are clearly not holding themselves accountable for). As I come in to collect a redemption pizza, they claimed I placed the napkin there myself, and refused to give me the pizza while harassing me to delete my review before I left the store. The owner quickly escalated the situation and said they had video of him preparing the pizza, which they were reluctant to show when asked, and threatened to call the police (yes I’m black) within only a minute of dismissive conversation. I’ve been ordering from Pizza 2020 for a while now, and I have to say, their pizzas are absolutely delicious! The dough is perfectly made, and it has this unique taste that keeps me coming back for more. And the veggie bread—wow! It’s loaded with cheese and fresh veggies, and I’ve never tasted anything like it anywhere else. It’s truly a standout!

The customer service is also top-notch—Uncle and Aunty who run the place are so sweet and always treat every student like their own child. It’s rare to find such warmth and care in a business.

I’ve seen some negative reviews pop up here and there, but I truly believe those don’t reflect the hard work and dedication these amazing people put into their job. As the saying goes, “A flower does not pick itself from the ground, it blooms where it’s planted.” That’s exactly what Pizza 2020 does—they focus on their loyal customers and continue to deliver great food and service, no matter what. Highly recommend!

Ordered the Cocelli Special so I could give everything a try. It came with 2 Medium pizzas each with 3 toppings, garlic bread, wings, a poutine, 2 dips and 4 pops for $30ish.

The pizza was delicious, thinner style crust, generous toppings, and great tasting tomato sauce that wasn't overpowering.

The Garlic bread which was fantastic, was heavy on the garlic and cheese.

Poutine from a pizza place in general is an odd concept to me, but it was surprisingly good. Large portion with good gravy. Only issue was the cheese wasn't melted, it needs to be put through the pizza oven for a moment or two before being picked up.

The Wings were tasty but a little under sauced.

All in all a great experience. Will definitely be ordering...
