Though we have officially entered winter with snowy flakes starting to tease us. 🌨 Let's not forget that food holds an utmost priority no matter how hard the winter is 😁.

Brightening up the gloomy weather with the most hyped Popeye's vintage Chicken Sandwich.

@popeyesca  has been teasing me with the release of their new Chicken Sandwich for months now and finally I had got my chance to devour it.

So is it worth the hype? Let's find out.

It is made with tender all-white meat chicken breast fillet, marinated in an authentic blend of Louisiana seasonings, then hand battered and breaded in their all new buttermilk coating. Served with crisp barrel-cured pickles and Classic or Spicy Mayonnaise, served on a warm and toasted buttery brioche bun.

The brioche bun was very pillowy and soft. The chicken breast fillet was actually still crispy even though we got it for take out and drove 35 mins back home. The pickles were nice and meaty slices, which was nice. There could have been a bit more mayo.

All an all it's a simple sandwich but what makes it standout is it's the sauces and the spicy chicken so do give it a try if you don't like...

When I visited Popeye's recently recently as in 5.39 am Friday 2024 June 28 , I had a rather disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. As I stood waiting for my order, I observed a male and female employee engaged in continuous conversation. They seemed to be in a playful environment, which did not strike me as professional, especially considering the circumstances.

I had ordered the spicy three-piece chicken from the Thursday daily special menu. However, it was evident that the male employee was not comfortable preparing my meal.

Because I understand Hindi language quite well, I was able to comprehend their conversation. The female employee was very rude to the male, and although he was on the receiving end, he also made some unprofessional comments towards her.

This behavior deeply concerns me. It not only reflects poorly on the employees but also affects the quality of service. If this issue is not addressed, I feel I might have to personally speak to these two staff members during my next visit...

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the incredible experience.

The attention to detail in both the service and the cuisine was exceptional. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that delighted my taste buds. The menu offered a fantastic variety of options, catering to different preferences and dietary needs.

The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. They were quick to offer recommendations, answer questions, and ensure that my every need was met.

It is evident that your restaurant holds a strong commitment to quality and excellence. The dedication to sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients and the skillful execution of each dish truly sets you apart.
