If I could give this place negative stars I would, I picked up and order at the Ashby location, I left the area because I was headed into town, as I was on my way, I realized that they forget a part of my order, I decided to stop by this location to get back the items I wasn’t able to get, I had my order confirmation, I had the receipt and I also had all the food that was part of the order, I came and I politely told them about the situation at hand and asked if I could retrieve the items I wasn’t able to get, I let them know I had the food and the receipt to show proof of everything. This woman didn’t even bother to really hear me out and immediately shut me down and said “we can’t do that, you’ll have to go back to the original location, it’s under different branches so there’s nothing we can do, I told her unfortunately I wasn’t able to go back because I was already far from the place, she proceeded to ask me to call the other location, I went off to call the location I originally ordered from, not only did I speak to an employee but also a manager, they told me there’s absolutely no reason as to why the woman at this location would be turning down my request especially since I had the receipt and everything, they informed me that the woman was completely in the wrong and that she should be able to give part of my order that I’m missing, I went back to the counter and told her what they said on the phone, you would think that me telling her this information she would just help me out instead she continued to deny it, it’s not until another employee came out and they started talking and then after they finally gave my order, after a whole 15 mins of standing there wasting my time, you give me what I came for, originally I thought this was just poor customer service but it’s not just that it’s complete racism, if i was a person that looked similar to them, I wouldn’t have had to go through the trouble I went through just for 2 damn cookies, but no it’s because I’m a person of colour which is why they felt they could disrespect me and make it seem like I’m in the wrong. Read moreI came in on September 9th and ordered a vanilla dip donut and two chocolate tim bits. I paid for my order using my phone and the credit card machine declined twice despite me having money in my phone. This was odd and shortly after the screen of the machine went black before some sort of coding appeared on the screen. It seemed to be glitching and I told the cashier this and she called over another employee to fix it. When the machine began working properly again, they asked me to try again and I was going to without issue but before I could, I got a notification on my phone about the payment being made. The transaction did in fact go through and it is shown in my bank statement as well. I can provide the proof if necessary. However, the cashier accused me of not paying in front of several other customers. Very embarrassing for me. I would never lie about this. I come here regularly. The total was just $1.96. Why would I not pay such an inexpensive total especially as a regular customer? The first cashier taking my order even saw that the machine was acting weird yet did nothing to inform her coworker of that making it just 1 against 2. I even showed on my phone that the payment went through. I Bought 4x $30 gift cards from this location. Staff wrote $30 on the gift card sleeve but two of the recipients said the amounts they received on the gift cards were less than $30.
Looking at the gift card numbers, they weren't even the same cards loaded with the $30. The staff (whether intentionally or not) gave me cards loaded with a lower amount. When brought to their attention, the staff was less than helpful, gave me the run around and sent me to their parent location, which has yet to have helped me.
