This is a brand new restaurant that just opened up in a Desi plaza at Mayfield and Airport. I was very excited that Wendyâs was coming to this corner. I even waited a few weeks for it to get a little busy so the food wouldnât be stale or sitting around all day. I went in last night ordered a apple pecan salad and a spicy chicken sandwich. I was very, very disappointed to say the least. the spicy chicken. was hard as a rock. I actually wanted to head back and complain, but I was too far out by the time I took a bite. Do not go to this restaurant until the plaza gets developed. Theyâre probably only one of the few units that have been leased most of that plaza is a ghost town. They just donât have the traffic there to keep making fresh items. I have a feeling my spicy chicken was a couple days old. Very disappointed Wendyâs. also on a sidenote, this location does not accept AMEX credit cards. I mentioned to the girl at the counter that I always pay by AMEX every time I go to Wendyâs and she said this unit is independently owned and the owner does not want to accept AMEX. Maybe the fees...
Read moreI ordered two salads one was a Cobb salad and the other a Caesar salad, specifically asked for extra packets of sauce for the both of them and they didnât follow instructions but on top of that my Caesar salad the leaves were dead and soggy, didnât even look appealing at all the salad looked flat. On top of that, I instructed for the Caesar to NOT have bacon bits on it which it didnâtâor so I thought, Iâm not allowed to eat pork and by the time I got to the end of the salad there was a bacon bits which I then had to spit out and throw the rest away. Super disappointing considering this location is new but workers clearly canât hear or take instructions well so I wouldnât even consider going to this location because if theyâll make you eat something youâre not supposed to, who knows what else theyâll put...

Trying to find the place was difficult enough in this plaza that can be best described as 'If Hotel California were a ghost town' mixed with confusion from Google Maps (screenshot of myself standing at the Wendy's counter vs where they claim the place to be, for reference). After all of that confusion, I decided to forgo the weirdly designed drive thru and walked inside. Got told off the bat that I can't place an order with a human being and have to use the machine (also, what's the point of picking specific soft drinks on these machines if they just pass you a cup and tell you to fill it yourself?) By that point, the poor taste of the food just felt like part of...
