We had a very nice dinner at the Branon north property with our family while visiting Brandon yesterday. The food was very good with big portions. The margarita/Corona "fishbowel" drinks were excellent. Our sever Dana was amazing. She was very kind, friendly and funny. Even the manager (a gentleman)helped with our (drink orders) as did another lady manager with clearing our table so we'd have more room ..they were also very friendly, engaging and really made us feel welcome and special.
My only "issue" was being charged over $6.00 for a second small container of sour cream and salsa to go with our larfe order of nachos which only came with one of each. To pay that amount for a few scoops of sour cream and salsa was really disappointing especially when our bills were well over $200! We could gave bought a full size container of sour cream and a jar of salsa for less than that! I realize profit margins for restaurants are slim but really?? In all our years of going to restaurants we have never been charged for something like that ... just saying.
Thank you for a great meal, super service and a very nice time. Looking forward to our next visit but I doubt we will be ordering extra sour cream and salsa at those...
Read moreWent to BP last week for a nice celebratory dinner with my husband. Ordered a Tropical Chicken pizza with the Barbeque sauce instead of Alfredo. It came out with literally little to no BBQ sauce. When we addressed this with our waitress, she said she would go talk to the cook. She proceeded to come out with a tiny little disposable container of BBQ sauce and said to dip the pizza! I am so beyond irritated with this as the pizza was not cheap. If we order something a specific way and the order comes out not the way it is supposed to be we expect it to be corrected properly. The waitress chose to take the word of the cook over a customer. Also, after not eating most of the pizza and receiving our bill she had the nerve to ask if my husband wanted his change. With the service we received that should have never been the question and we should have at least gotten an apology (did not happen) or a discount. Neither happened and BP has lost a customer that came in at least once a week. ...
Read moreLast weekend my friend and I went out for desserts... We both ordered a brownie dish... Both she and I were not too impressed with how the brownie texture was. It was more like chocolate cake instead of a nice chewy and soft brownie. It also seemed like it was from a mix instead of something that was made from a chef or one of the cooks. The other thing was the cuts were not the same one had two brownies wider than the other person's which means when paying for your dessert what are you really paying for? When serving the same plate one needs to make sure that the plate looks exactly the same size wise and portion wise. Due to the taste and due to the presentation we gave this dessert a 2 out of 5 which is a grand total of 4 out of 10. I love brownies and when I purchase one I want it to be a brownie if I wanted cake I would have ordered a slice of cake.
