Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Brandon

I used to be so happy with my Dominos orders but by god the last couple have been blah. So right now I caved for the 50% off deal, and with so much activity you expect a slight drop in quality. But as a much needed stressed to the limit cheat meal, I was so gravely disappointed.

So first off, those pizzas be smaaallllll. Shrinkflation is so strong and it hurts. Not just overall size but skimpy toppings too. Especially since my pizza was supposed to be extra cheesy and as a 90's kid this was barely enough for a regular.

I was also pumped to try out their NY style but guaranteed it only works for a pep n cheese, all my toppings were around the middle which makes the dough not actually cook fully which everyone loves sloppy dough.

I am hurt, truly hurt by you Dominos. You're staff were super awesome and great at the counter but your actual company standards for quality no longer exists.

Maybe its because I've had a horrible work week, maybe its because I go to the gym 6 days a week now and want to ACTUALLY enjoy my fat meals, but you hurt me. And I cant forgive you.

But dont worry! after an extra 10 mins in my air fryer, adding some extra old cheddar, and a few shots of your favourite beverage, it was salvagable.

Worst $18 ever, was better off sticking to...

I loved that Parnesan Stuffed Crust so much that I wanted to order it again, this time to keep to myself... so I did that! It was just as wonderful the second time around. I've also never ever had a problem with an order from Domino's in all the times I've ordered from there, and that's saying something. Since I moved into my apartment and started ordering, It's been over a decade of good, delicious pizza and cheesy bread! Oh, and I can't recommend a custom combination of mine enough. Get hand-tossed crust with Ham, Feta, Tomato and Onion on top. No extra cheese. You can get them to sprinkle it with oregano for extra flavour. I know it sounds weird, but seriously don't knock it until you've tried it.

The only complaint I have is the delivery charge. Charging near five dollars for delivery is a lot, and I can't afford to tip the drivers to thank them for their time if I am paying that much for delivery. Consistently poor quality pizza. Have tried ordering twice now from this store. Both times the thin crust was horribly over cooked. This despite specifically asking for the crust to be less cooked. Edges of the pizza were burnt. Toppings were tasteless. The first order I had the pizza was also badly over cooked. Toppings were “thrown” on and poorly distributed. This used to be one of my favourite pizza restaurants, but the quality and pride are sadly missing. If you are looking for take-out pizza, recommend you look at one of the other pizza restaurants in Brandon and avoid this establishment.

Update: Owner asked me to contact them per their comment as a result of my review. I take my reviews seriously, so contacted the owner as they requested … and they never responded...so my review stands. Two separate occasions I tried this restaurant and both times the quality of the product was AWFUL. I can not recommend...
