I'm going to start off by saying that the product selection at uniqpol is great. But the quality of the service, the atmosphere inside and the quality of the ready to eat items have become so poor that think today was the last time I'll ever shop at uniqpol again. The people working Here either are new and have no passion for the work that they're doing, or the old employees seem extremely burnt out and don't care about the customers or their complaints.
I love their sandwiches as it reminds me alot of the sandwiches my polish mom used to make me growing up. And I'd try to get them at least once a week. But the past 4 times I've had them, the worse and worse and worse it has gotten.
I figured it might just be a fluke but 4 disappointments in a row and I felt compelled to make this post.
The sandwiches have gone from these beautiful and soft buns, loaded with meat (I always get double meat) and veggies and salad and sauce. To these small, anemic, crumbly, cheap and dry buns and they have become so stingy with the meat that I feel that im actually saving money by going to subway at this point for a basic sandwich.
This is ontop of their other foods losing quality, taste and size. Their schnitzels are HORRIBLE and greasy now.
I don't know what happened to you uniqpol, I don't know why your food standards and quality have gone so low. But it's disappointing. And I am beyond appalled.

Meat products: The bologna I bought had huge plastic fibers embedded in it, almost like they were woven into the meat, along with pieces of bone. Itâs not just low qualityâitâs outright dangerous to eat. On top of that, it had absolutely no flavor, like something thatâs been sitting in a warehouse for months. Chocolate: The chocolate bars are just awful. The chocolate was stuck to the wrapper, and when I opened it, the entire bar crumbled apart, with the filling leaking everywhere. This wasnât a storage issue on my partâI opened it minutes after purchase. Itâs obvious theyâre selling expired or badly stored products imported from third-world countries. Customer service: The staff is unprofessional, rude, and completely unhelpful. Theyâre all Ukrainian and can barely speak or understand English. Instead of trying to communicate, they act dismissive, making it clear this store is not meant for Canadians.

Uniqpol is one of those places where the products are good but the service and quality of their sandwiches are on the decline. I tried shopping here before but I was turned off by the snotty staff. I decided to try again when Brant Foods caught fire and shut down for repairs. Nothing has changed. If anything, it has gotten worse. They move at a glacial speed when gathering your luncheon meat order. Couple that with the cashier who keeps running around the store leaving long and frustrated lineups because they are so disorganized. It takes at least 30 minutes per person once they start taking your order. As for the sandwiches, I agree with other people who have posted here. The quality and quantity have definitely gone down. I have purchased chicken schnitzel sandwiches in the past two weeks and both were small and the chicken was thin and overcooked. What a shame. While standing in line, a regular told me that the service is much better if you are Polish. That too is a shame.
