Tar'd & Feather'd — Restaurant in Brock

I have been coming here since I moved here in March this restaurant has been my home. But enough is enough the staff here tonight made me think otherwise. In my experience I came here on a Tuesday... wing night or at least I thought it was until I was told an hour after I walked in that they were out of wings. That's fair I can live with that issue but if your running low that is when your staff needs to prepare for the inevitable. You guys can do better I really enjoy the fun conversations I get to have with the staff. I have now been here since 7pm it is 8pm I ordered 20 wings my gf ordered 10 with a starter fries and Caesar salad. Ita been an hour guys, like fire the appetizers out. On top of it the female waitress that works here I witnessed her throwing the menus into the holder, slamming the doors where the kegs were stored. After she was informed the wings were out she told the cook in the back that he had to tell all the people in the restaurant which he did in kind. After one of her tables had an issue with that she had a loud outburst threw he note pad and cursed her way out of the door in front of children. This is not the first time I have seen this behavior from this person but this was another level. And as I sit here she is complaining about the issues still ongoing. I'm so disappointed 😞 I have been so proud of the food that is prepped here. What blows my mind further is Jeff (the other server) kept his cool the entire time. He was helpful and never stopped doing his job with a plentiful smile. I understand it is hard to run a restaurant on wing night when it is this busy, but that being said is is no excuse for this behavior. I hate to say it but I will have to start looking for another restaurant. I am so disappointed in the behavior tonight.

*Update Out of sincere respect for the person who has been mentioned I wanted to share that she has always been the most sweet and sincere person. She has reached out to us personally to make amends. I still love coming here because the experience is always so wonderful. I won't name the person who was involved ever out of respect and care for everybody's personal reasons. But to you I hope you are doing better and understand that you are always welcome to feel that a friendly chat about it all is all I ever want. I really hope this gets to you. You are wonderful and the world deserves more people that are as good as...

I ordered the British burrito. It was supposed to have roast beef, mashed potatoes and horseradish in it. All I tasted was the beef and maybe a tsp of mashed potatoes. It came with a gravy and it was salty. There was barely any meat in it either! For $16 you would expect a decently stuffed burrito. They did throw a lot of fries on my plate…trying to compensate for the disaster of a so called burrito. After that disappointing meal, I asked for a dessert and we were told that there wasn’t any. I asked why and the waitress said “Our place is really not for desserts”. Huh?! No desserts on their menu? The waitress did go in the kitchen and ask for us but we didn’t want to attempt it after the dinner. The waitress was very busy, basically forgot we were there. I spent almost $200 there with 4 guests and I still regret it this morning. The place was so good over the summer I suggested we return for a pre Christmas dinner. NEVER AGAIN! Worst service ever!!!!! Waited over 2 hours for takeout. Bartender NEVER came back to check on us. I had to find her EVERY TIME!!!!! After 2 hours of being ignored with my family, I sent them home and continued to wait. Still, never did she come back to my table. When I went to the counter, she told me she was busy to not take it out on her. (Girl with Black hair). I explained I was trying there waiting and evern had to send my family home. I guess if you're just looking for the bar experience on Wednesday afternoon it's a good place to be.
