This place is amazing! I love the atmosphere! I love that they have different sections to accommodate different desires. They have a section with normal tables and chairs but no music directly in the room for quieter conversation with little distraction. They have two booths with small screens to watch sports with some music, so you can still talk but also watch a sport while you enjoy your meal. They have a large bar with a huge TV screen. Along with the bar and the booths they have plenty of tall tables all with small screens to watch sports if desired. They have another room to the left of the bar that looked like it held a pool table (possibly multiple), but I havenât been in that room, so I donât know what it looks like for sure. The washrooms are nice, and they also have a single accessible washroom that has plenty of room. There is an L-shaped bar on the left side of the toilet and a horizontal bar at the back of the toilet. I loved that they had an easy-to-read indicator if the bathroom was in use plus easy access to all buttons. The food and the service! WOW! I cannot say enough about it! The staff are friendly and very accommodating! I asked our server if there was butter in a dessert I was planning on having and not only did she check for butter, but she told me how far down the list of ingredients it was, which was very helpful (the further down the list, the less there is). I so appreciated that! The food is phenomenal!!!! I always leave feeling full and wanting to go back the very next night! I have had their spinach and artichoke dip, deep fried dill pickles, onion rings, and their signature salad. Their salad has such amazing flavour! I had a bite of their blackened fish tacos when a family member ordered them. These are by far the best Iâve ever had! I think the main reason is the fish. I loved that this was a filet of Basa and not just some strips of battered fish. I cannot handle a lot of spice, but because this taste so good, I am willing to endure the spice for the flavour they give. I HIGHLY recommend this place! I have been here three separate times and I look forward to each return! 519 Table and Pour, thank you for coming to Walkerton! I love...
Read moreA group of 12 of us from the Grey Bruce Motorcycle Touring Club made reservations for 5pm. We all older people and got placed back in the pool room and had to climb up on real high bar stools to sit at the table . There was a bunch of kids smashing balls around on the tables unsupervised running around yelling. We couldn't sit and have a normal conversation . I had battered fish and chips. The fish had been in the fryer too long and the chips were the same. Dark brown and all smashed into small pieces. I should of sent them back. What really got me pist off was when I got the bill and there was a 18% gratuity charge and then another 13% on top of that. There was 8 members that cancelled out when they found out about the 18 % forced tip. TO THE OWNER ..... Yeah I agree with you .. I should of sent the food back as soon as I saw what it looked like. It wasn't my idea for us to sit back in the pool room. But I just went with what some thought would be ok. I didn't realize that the kids would be back in the pool room running wild while the parents were out front enjoying their meal in piece and quite. We've been there before and always sat out front and enjoyed our food and never had to pay a surcharge. We've always left a good tip. Maybe the parents should sit back in the pool room with their kids and see how that goes for them. .. THANKS FOR GETTING BACK...
Read moreWe visited when in town to see family. It was on a Saturday at 6pm just around dinner rush.
We were provided a seat and the wait staff was quick to take drink orders and get us started.
This location can get very loud. I feel there is a very good opportunity to get some more acoustic treatments or to have a few well placed partitions to cut down on the noise that is generated here.
I misheard the special, but was pleased that it was "Chicken and Brisket" , I thought I heard "Chicken Brisket" I was excited to try something different, but It was not. The chicken was great, very well cooked, the brisket was on the dry side, but the sauce compensated a little, There was cold slaw and a Two-Bite little corn bread, that was under whelming.
My partner ordered a basic burger that had a Gluten Free option on the menu with some avocado on top and informed the server of the allergy. When the server brought out the burger she said the kitchen would only provide a side of avocado in a cup. There also had been some cross contamination in the food prep as there was a reaction in the hours following our visit.
We may look to try again in the future. There is a lot of room for a better visit...
