Today I have nothing nice to say about this restaurant. Except for the young lady at the front that greeted us... she was very nice.
As for our experience, first the older blond waitress lacked first of a smile. We could tell that we were being judged as soon as we were at our table. I asked I they had lunch specials... she tossed the inner part of the menu and pointed at the pasta dishes. Later she came to get our order hubby and daughter both ordered the pasta dishes. I ordered the Philly cheese steak ( western) ... I was asked if I wanted salad or fries. I chose fries but was not asked if I wanted the seasoned fries. I asked our waitress for a straw , got ignored. My hubby asked the kind lady at the front for the straw. Plate came with regular frozen fries , my sub was absolutely disgusting mostly onions and tasted like old warmed over mushrooms, definitely not fresh . I understand that food is expensive and cutbacks have to be made. There was a thin slice of cheese stuck to the bottom of my bun. And a extremely very thin slice of steak , I think.... little glass of Pepsi $3.49 ? I'm a overweight lady in a wheelchair that I'm sure the waitress just by the looks I got ... I was going to woof it all down... I couldn't it was disgusting. Before your waitress judges your customers maybe she needs to get checked for her behavior by management. Maybe we don't look like the kind of people that tip really well. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Because we know what it's like to survive on tips. I'm sorry but money is very hard to come by. She did NOT deserve a tip. She didn't get one. She obviously showed that she was not happy. I completely understand but she would have gotten a minimum 30% tip if she would have made an effort. I believe she's in the wrong line of work. The food was $84.79 for a small lunch..Riculous ! Read moreOn October 13 my wife and I went there for dinner. We sat on the Bar side. The restaurant was not very busy and the waitress kept telling us that she was coming to take our order, after 20 min of waiting she finally came. She was chatting a lot with customers and did not care much about servicing customers. After awhile we finally could order . I received the wrong order and had to wait longer to finally get my original order. My wife received the wrong drink but we were tired of this bad service that she did not request to change it. The waitress never offered us parmesan cheese nor ground pepper like we normally get from another server in the same restaurant. We finished our dinner and request the bill. Waitress was not very friendly once she realized that she got 15 percent tip and not 20 . We had a really bad experience in this restaurant and never again we will go there nor recommending it . Read moreFirst off, we (group of 5) were very late costumers for the service (last customers in the joint) so we were not expecting the best service, wich was fine, because we've all worked in customer service before, and assumed it would be the case.
Instead, the greatest of waiter, Shawn, was visualy delighted by our presence, and made us feel not only welcome but as if we were family dining in.
The meals were absolutely perfect for the price, and as expected, very fast to come out of the kitchen.
To go back to Shawn's service, we not only has an amazing one, but also got to know him on a personal level, leaving the boring parts out, therefore, while being very entertaining during the whole service.
We will never forget you, Shawn. Keep making your bosses and your team proud.
