Hello! I am super unsatisfied if I'm going to be honest. Me, my father, and his brother went to the eatery a while ago. We were so disappointed. What happened is that we entered, and there was barely any people. Four other people at max. The prices were absurd first of all. We ordered are food, and it took over an HOUR to get two orders of tiny pancakes that wouldn't even fill a child, and a gosh darn bagel. It was so pricey for over an hour wait, with food that wasn't even good whatsoever. The size, sight, and taste were all very disappointing. When we asked what was taking so long, they said... "Having technical issues with the bagel". Like, what? It's a bagel. Cut it with a knife, easy. It shouldn't take over an hour just to make four pancakes and a sandwich bagel. It's ridiculous. Plus, I didn't even get berries on my pancakes like ON THE MENU. My dad was extremely upset because we were late to golfing because of this horrible service. Also adding that I couldn't even eat there because of how much time was taken. I had to grab it, and...
Read moreThere were several staff working but there is no table side service. Though they were all quite pleasant, you have to go get your own menus, go place your order, go get your own sugar for coffee etc...like Starbucks. The food was decent but nothing special. The menu is out of date. The one thing I wanted is no longer available. We were told it hasn't been available for quite some time, they don't know why, and that it is the favourite of many customers and requested often. It was the spicy tuna pita panini. I had the turkey bunwich with cranberry and brie. It was all right. At least the bun was home made but nothing great. I had looked forward to trying this place for a while and was somewhat disappointed overall. My hubby had a burger - the fries were crinkle fries from a bag, not home made. The decor is nice, an upscale appeal but unfortunately the lack of service and mediocre food does not stand up to what they seem to be trying to achieve. They could very easily step...
Read moreWe stopped in for a quick lunch in mid-July, as we were on our way to Smithers. What a delightful experience. The young woman at the counter was courteous & helpful. She made us two delicious, decaf., iced Americanos. I had asked for minimal water once the espresso had been poured over the ice & she made the drinks just as requested. They were perfect! We shared a tasty turkey, Brie & cranberry sandwich & it was so good, particularly the bread. I had a bowl of soup which seemed home made & it too was wonderful. Unfortunately, we don’t live in the area, so we can’t frequent the Eatery regularly. But I told friends who live in the area about the friendly service & delicious meal, encouraging them to drop by. It was a refreshing stop on our road...
