Worst experience ever and would never return. Buyer Beware!!!
I placed an order October 2, 2020 over the phone for 2 plates of channa bhatura at around 8 pm, I waited over 30 minutes for my order before canceling and leaving. I've never had to wait so long for a plate of channa bhatura at any other restaurant, I call and place an order at Kwality Sweets and my order is ready to go within 15 minutes max. This restaurant should not have opened if they did not have sufficient staff and cooks, I witnessed many people canceling orders and leaving due to the ridiculously long wait times.
The restaurant owner can check his/her cameras and verify the following situation:
While waiting I witnessed a customer bring back an order claiming that they received the wrong order. A staff member took back the order and gave him the correct order. The staff member then proceeded to take the returned order to the back into the kitchen. About 5-10 minutes later she came back with the same order to give it to the correct customer. The customer questioned whether it was the same order that the previous customer had returned, the staff member said no. Upon further inspection by the customers, the customer refused to take the order because it was very obvious that it was the same returned order. I was over 6 feet away and I could see that the bag was the exact same bag that the customer returned, packed the exact same way. The customers refused to take the order and asked for a refund instead.
I could be wrong but it seems like the restaurant is owned and operated by the same person. Clearly Sizzler was a fail, probably due to lack of customer service, ridiculous wait times and not adhering to health and safety standards.
Health and Safety standards should be top priority especially during a pandemic, front cashiers weren't even wearing their masks properly, god knows what was going on at the back. Furthermore the returned order should NOT have been taken to the kitchen, or accepted by the cashiers ... the bag or the food could have been contaminated with COVID-19, not only are you putting staff at risk but you're also putting...

My daughter went to your store specifically asking for fresh jalebi. She was assured it would be fresh. Imagine our disappointment when we brought it home… only to find soggy, stale jalebi that looked like it had been dug up from a time capsule. We had guests over, and I had spoken of your “new store” as if it were a shining example of quality. Instead, you delivered a masterclass in disappointment.
When I returned to the store to explain the obvious that the jalebi was not fresh I was met with the wildest explanation: apparently, the problem was my microwave. Not the jalebi, but my appliance. I corrected them politely, saying I hadn’t microwaved anything. Then your employee went back told me to wait 10-15 minutes for fresh jalebi, reheated the same jalebi in their own microwave in the back, and proudly declared it fresh.
I am a chef, with decades of experience. I can tell fresh from stale just by looking at it. And yet, here I was, watching a culinary denial unfold: the jalebi was still clearly not fresh, still soggy, still an insult to the art of cooking. The owner insisted it was fresh, despite my professional opinion, then went to check the back, apparently to “confirm” the obvious.
Watching your staff scramble, apologizing mid reheating, attempting refunds while still defending the indefensible, was like watching a poorly rehearsed theater of incompetence. The level of denial needed to run a store while serving stale jalebi is impressive but also deeply disrespectful to anyone who values honesty or quality.
In the end, the truth came out: the jalebi was not fresh. The entire experience was an insult to my experience, to my family, and to anyone who trusts your store. A store that cannot serve fresh jalebi while being honest has no business opening its doors, yet here you are, thriving on delusion and false promises.

Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience at Mint Leaf. The issues began right at the start of our event—their music system broke down early, disrupting the atmosphere. Later, two glasses were accidentally broken, but they exaggerated and claimed it was 15, which was laughable. Things only got worse when it was time to settle the bill.
Two staff members falsely inflated the guest count by 10, despite our clear agreement to pay per person. When my husband and I questioned this, their behavior turned strange. We even offered to review the camera footage to verify the actual guest count, but they flat-out refused to check, insisting that their staff’s count was correct. Adding to the frustration, they suddenly increased the price by $5 per plate.
The behavior of their staff was downright unprofessional. They mocked us, made faces, shouted, and refused to share their names. Despite all this, we maintained our calm, paid the inflated bill, and moved on, though the dishonesty left a bitter impression. This was particularly upsetting as we had already tipped them earlier, yet they continued to show tantrums and disrespect.
What made matters even more appalling was their conduct toward a pregnant woman. The staff, especially the two girls, shouted and acted aggressively, showing zero basic customer service skills or understanding of how to treat a customer. To top it off, when all their dishonest tactics failed, they resorted to falsely accusing my husband of misbehaving—something that absolutely never happened.
We are grateful we recorded everything during the event because we know we did nothing wrong. Despite our offer to share proof, the Mint Leaf team continues to avoid addressing the matter honestly and refuses to check their cameras. If they truly had nothing to hide, they would resolve this issue with evidence rather than childish behavior.
