Terrible service… and make sure you don’t order burgers!
My family came in at 8pm on Friday Sep29 for supper. It started off well with the server getting us drinks (tap beers are good here) quickly and the food order for our youngest.
While we were waiting for the rest of the food the server came out and said the kitchen is closing and asked if we want anything else. We said we are ok, not knowing what we’re getting.
Then the rest of our food (4 dishes) didn’t come out for half an hour. It was the only food order and not busy at all (4 tables, most of them wrapping up)
Then the server really took her time to chat to two different tables while our food is sitting in the kitchen window, ready.
When we did get our food, the two burgers my son and I ordered were both so overcooked they were burnt (judging by other reviews a common issue). The server also never inquired how the food is. And really why would it matter since the kitchen is closed right?
We ate it anyway because we were starving and while I was paying the bill I told the server how they were burnt and all she said was “oh really?” and walked away…
That’s so bad it’s laughable.
I understand kitchen can screw up sometimes but the service we got made this experience quite frustrating.
Brewsters is a decent chain but this location is no bueno....
Read moreSo disappointing. Ordered a keg of the Mexicana 14 days prior. Day of pick up, I called at 1240 and asked if I could come by and pick up the keg. WAS TOLD YES! Arrived at 1pm and saw a sign outside that said pick ups and deliveries proceed to back. Knocked on door and was told to go to the front. Went to the front, saw the office, went inside, was told to go to the bar. Went to the bar, was told by the bar tender " I don't know nothing about that" . Had a manager - young Asian guy come up to me in a frenzy and was told he can't help me now because it's too busy to come back at 330 or 4pm. I didn't need to be waited on, I was there to give you $300 and walk away with my keg. He said he'd be right back and rushed off. I waited 10mins, with my son at the bar. Not even a pint of beer or an appy was offered as consolation for my time. I walked out of there when he didn't return. I called the establishment brewery and was taken care of like a gentleman. I guess my money was less valuable at Brewsters. I won't be back, And I will never support them again. Terrible customer service over a quick transaction with not even the slightest bit of insight on how to keep a...
Read moreA buddy and myself popped into the Foothills location of Brewster’s the other night and had a great time. First the beer: it’s brewed inhouse, as this location brews all the beer for the Brewster’s locations and retail sales (available in house at all the locations and at your select beer retailer). They have any types and strengths of beer, so ask your server for the list and go crazy. You get everything from a flight to a growler so you can take some home. The food: this is where the menu shines. Lots to choose starting from wings, and snacks etc, up to steak sandwiches and a must try, the Butter Chicken. The flatbreads are also a must try, we had the Brewster's special, (which so good!!) We also had the wings, dry ribs the Korean tacos (which are fabulous), and the First Burger. The service: Our server Cara was bright and friendly, super knowledgeable and quick with a smile and ready to refresh our almost empty beer glass. Everything came out super-fast, the food was hot and fresh and the beer nice and cold. Check the web for locations and pop in soon, it’s a great place to fill your cravings and quench your thirst, and take some...
