Deagla Restaurant Legacy — Restaurant in Calgary

I was referred to Deagla by a good friend of mine so I visited the establishment last night with my son after football practice and very fortunately for us it completely overachieved our expectations. We were graciously welcomed by who I'm guessing were the owners as they're pride, humbleness and exhaustion were on full display upon entry, lol. Their restaurant felt & seemed very clean, the aroma of Mediterranean spices luckily filled the air and in the corner a family contentedly & happily wolfed down their food only to look up from time to time with smiles for one another. The playfulness of my words is no accident, I spend my time thoughtfully writing this review as the owner did cooking my lamb kebabs with the exception that he fulfilled his job to perfection while my amateur status is evidently front & center.

My lamb kebab wrap was huge, it was filled with fresh vegetables that snapped and burst with flavour after each bite, my favorite being the pickled cabbage. I chose the garlic & tahini sauces which paired beautifully with the lamb, it was simply delicious. My son went with a large chicken & donair mix and i thought my lamb kebab was big, his was gigantic. He didn't listen to me about the picked cabbage but went with everything else then decided on the sweet sauce because millennials. He loved it and did his best to finish it all but it was a fool's aaron having a little less than a third leftover that I put in his scrambled eggs this morning. While devouring the wrap he made the sounds associated with pure enjoyment, even though I wouldn't share with him I made him give me a bite since I paid and the chicken was divine, it was so good that is what I plan on ordering tonight.

I end my story with the best part last, the prices for these masterpieces are criminally fair to us the customer, while some frozen patty places are charging us around twenty-six bucks for a burger, my wrap here was only twelve dollars, my sons large was only fourteen something so if you're able to take a night off from cooking please do yourself the favour and visit Deagla in Legacy SE. I swear I'm not a shareholder, I only appreciate good food made the right way. Next time I will try and remember to take pics to include before we eat but it can be difficult to wait once you get your order, lol.

We had the pleasure of visiting our friends @deaglarestaurantcalgary, and as always, they did not disappoint! Their new Donair Rolls were an absolute hit—warm, crispy on the outside, and perfectly tender inside. The seasoning was just right, not too spicy, and the sweet sauce paired beautifully with the savory donair flavors.

Next up was the Chicken Shawarma Salad, which was a fresh and satisfying option. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, complemented by crisp greens and a delicious garlic dressing that tied everything together without overpowering the dish.
