Awful just awful. I went in to get a sub and almost got overcharged if I didn't point out the employees' wrongdoing.
From the get go the employee (a female) wasn't very friendly. I asked her for a moment while I decided what sandwich I wanted to purchase. When I was ready I walked closer to the counter to prompt her and rather than ask me what I would like to order the employee rudely stated "Are you done?" to which I was a bit thrown off by. I kindly stated yes and began to state my order.
I ordered a footlong Green Goddess Rotisserie Chicken sandwich and when asked for the type of bread, I stated the one and also clearly mentioned that I wanted swiss cheese. I could tell the employee was not at all paying attention to me and put white cheese so I kindly corrected her and then she slapped on swiss cheese on top and I had to take the extra cheese when I didn't even want that much cheese to begin with. The veggie selection to be very honest did not look fresh at all which was very very concerning so I had to carefully select them based on appearance in hopes that I wasn't served something bad. The rest of the sandwich making process went fine.
When going to pay for the food, I was very shocked as the employee was charging me almost $14 for a footlong sub that was clearly posted as $10.89 on their menu board. When I questioned this, the two employees at the till tried to laugh it off which was not professional at all. I am fairly certain that they made fun of me as well because I called out this error. Again, for most of my visit, the employee was giggling and chatting away with her coworkers with no mind to me as the customer. I strongly stated that I would only be paying the amount that was stated on their menu to which the employee responded "I can give you a receipt, it will show you our current price of this sandwich. No one updated our menu so those prices are not current". This was not at all a suitable justification and I had to defend my stance by stating the receipt won't convince me otherwise and that they should not be posting false prices and this is very misleading and unfair to any customer. I will only be paying the price posted on their menu. The employees finally agreed and adjusted my price but getting to this point should not have been so hard. If you have a price posted for a product that someone is purchasing you need to honour it, its common sense!
I am always very understanding and patient with fast food employees but these group of girls working at the store this evening were unprofessional, incompetent and in no way knowledgeable...
Read moreBeen coming here for the last 4 years since I moved to the community. It's been ok but tonight was very dissapointing. Seemed to be a meeting going on in the back. Slow to acknowledge then kept answering the phone in between making my sandwich. Nisha was the one making it and she kept yelling to the girls in the back while working on sandwich. Told me something about an inspection which as a customer I don't care about and should not get in the way of customer service. If it was that important they should have closed the business for it. She was completely distracted and didn't listen to me. I said TWO banana peppers (my usual request) and she threw on a bunch. I always ask for light sauce and she went crazy with it. Then put it in a bag when I did not ask for a bag as I know they charge for those. Ridiculous. This is not the first time Nisha has been unproffesional. Read moreI’ve been coming to this Subway location for a very long time, but this was the final straw—I will NEVER be coming back. I went in around 9:30 PM on a Friday, a whole hour before closing, and only two kinds of bread were available: brown and flatbread. That’s unacceptable for a Subway. I asked for nachos, and was told they were discontinued—even though they’re still right there on the menu.
The staff clearly didn’t care. Their attitude was off, and they acted like serving customers was a chore. After my order, I waited to be asked if I wanted my receipt, but instead the employee just walked off and started making another sandwich, like I didn’t even exist. No basic courtesy. No respect.
This isn’t just one bad day—this location has been slipping for a while, and now it’s just gone downhill completely. The owner seriously needs to take responsibility and fix the poor management, bad service, and constant shortages.
They’ve lost a long-time customer for good. Keep running it like this, and it won’t be long before this...
