Wild Horse Pub — Restaurant in Calgary

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GET THE BURGER!!!! I ordered the fried wontons to start which were good, but when my burger came out I was faced with an anaemic looking flat top fried grey burger patty on what looked like a wonder bread burger bun! I told my server Averey I believe her name was about my concerns. She agreed and offered to get my something else free of charge (which was amazing, cheers to her) I know how these poorly ran pubs work and know that if she comped my meal or got me something different she’d likely be paying out of pocket for it so I declined her offer out of respect to her. But to the management of that pub come on! What’s a pathetic excuse for a burger in the heart of Alberta beef country! What a horrible place to eat dinner and avoid it at all costs unless you’ve had more than a few drinks than maybe their food would be tolerable!!!! Atmosphere is a nice western standard Alberta themed pub. The service was absolutely amazing, thank you Averey for being so attentive to your guests! Wouldn’t come back here! And if you do go DO NOT ORDER...

This is a wonderful pub located inside the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. My husband and I went here to play craps, and he did very well. So, after that exciting table game we went here to eat. My husband ordered Fish & Chips, and for me Fried Rice and Fried Wontons. My husband said he was surprised that his Fish & Chips were really good. Crunchy on the outside and yummy. My Fried Rice was very flavorful but not overwhelming. It was seasoned right and with just the right amount; plus it had pork pieces in there too. Both my husband and I enjoyed the fried wontons. The great thing about this pub was just not the food but the vibe. It has a cool vibe that attracts young people and the young at heart as well. That night the band Silly Wrabbit played and they were so damn good! They kept the energy of the pub alive and people we’re dancing and truly having a great time including my husband and I. I definitely recommend this place and we will come...

I was working a Casino for a charity today and came in for a bite to eat on my shift. I really enjoyed my dinner a lot as the food was very tasty, however, the service from Jordan was exceptional. Then as I watched Jordan run around serving all of her other customers, I realized that the great service that I was extended was been given to all of the other patrons she was serving. Jordan seemed set on treating all of the customers she was serving with the same kindness and great service as everyone else. It was really nice and made my meal very pleasant and I want to make sure that her employer knows how great she treated me and all of her other customers.The Wild Horse Pub should feel so fortunate to have great staff like Jordan...
