We have been here several times and have always been very happy with everything. Unfortunately on Friday April 26th this was not the case. It was very busy and we sat at the bar to wait for a table. 2 more parties came in and got seated before we did. When we did get table, we waited several minutes for a menu. We waited longer than usual for our order. We waited at least 45 minutes from the time we got there till we placed our order and another 40 minutes at least before we received our main course. It felt like drinks were being pushed and it seemed like our main course was forgotten. The waitstaff tried to close us up after we finished our hor d'oeuvres and we had to remind them we had a dinner order too. When we received it, it was cool and fries were soft and soggy. I get when it's busy orders may take longer...but that was the least of our issues. Another thing that took us by surprise was the cost of a mixed drink. Turns out a drink has two different costs, one for the liquor and one for the mix. Sneaky way to increase the cost of drinks and quite a rip off as far as I am concerned. We really enjoyed going here and we're very disappointed. In hindsight we should have asked for new food and queried the other issues we had. Pay your cooks more, if you need help with 2022 economics as it's a struggle mathematicaly for boomers, just pay them whatever they want. $20, $25, $30/hour and dental benefits. Want your employees to be partners and eventually millionaires. Pay them whatever they want and then you'll understand 2022 labour economics. Life is not a one pie eating contests, before crying poor, change the vibration, bake more pies so nobody feels like this is the last slice. Then bring in bands and make your money on alcohol while the kitchen is the reason for customers to stay for 3 hours and chill. Excellent food, props to the chef! I had the spinach dip, which was great price and delicious. Wherever I go to a restaurant, I always try the spinach dip, and there's is the best in town by far. The only thing I would knock is that it comes with chips. However, the chips are great and unsalted. But I am being picky because i like both chips and pitas to dip. The dip is amazing. Also got the loaded potatoes they were cooked awesomely, and we had a classic pepperoni pizza, and it was amazing. The pizzas crust was perfect stood up to the cheese and pepperon it wasn't greasy at all, and the sauce was flavorful. I have had a lot of pizzas in town, and honestly, other than arugula is the best in TOWN. also ate the pizza as a snack cold was still amazing.
