My chow mein was made with ramen noodles. Chicken balls were breaded, not battered.. seemed like prefab & they were soggy in a bath of S&S sauce. Doordash delivered with no notification. Do not tip driver through the app - Add note that you will Tip cash, in person that way they are forced to find your door instead of leaving your food out in the rain by your sewer hose. The food was not what I expected and doordash sealed the deal. I will never order from or recommend Ginger beef to anyone. Also, it was the first time I used doordash and I will never use it again. Just a tip for any restaurants that use doordash: DONT

It's entirely possible I caught them on an off night, but given the good reviews I was disappointed. We had the buffet and, though the kalamari was spiced nicely, most of the items were extremely bland. I took a big scoop of dry ribs thinking they have never been bad anywhere I've been, but they had no detectable amount of salt or garlic or anything on them. Just tasted like bland batter, I ended up getting sick of them before I finished my plate. I had similar feelings about the noodle dishes and chicken wings. Just bland and completely barren of any seasoning.

Yaaaassssss! Thank the Lord for good Chinese food! I haven't had a Chinese buffet in like foreverrrrrrrr thanks to no fun Vancouver for pricing them all out. Aside from the fact that I am LITERALLY ON CLOUD 9 for finding a Chinese buffet again, the food is actually good. It's not your typical bad Chinese buffet, it's amazing! Every dish is giving me pleasure like nobody's business. And the staff are so sweet and attentive. Am I in the twilight zone!?? Campbell River: I envy you. Do not let this place die.
