Not a great experience, not terrible but definitely not a place my girlfriend and I would go back too. Visited on Saturday evening Oct 20, the place was empty and cold both in temperature and pleasantry. Our waitress was friendly enough but the atmosphere just seemed dark, gloomy and cold. Even though we were the only customers to walk in at 6pm to an empty restaurant no one smiled or really seemed happy to greet us. The music in the restaurant was the local radio station and although we sat in the corner by a fake fireplace the place was pretty cool and drafty. We ordered an appetiser to start and then a Greek Veggie Plated for my girlfriend and Baked Ravioli for myself. The Veggie Plate featured Spanakopita which as described by my companion was less desirable than frozen entrees she would take out of a package at home. My baked Ravioli was really just OK, I was really hungry. It was just not much Ravioli to be honest, which was drowning in cheese and sauce in a metal dish served on the plate with no salad or garnish. Preferably a ceramic or anything but a metal dish that look like a dogs water bowl would be more presentable. The appetiser which was just Hummus and Pita is really difficult to screw up being just 'bread and dip' but somehow this place still made it look less appetising than any other place I've been too. I feel the menu was outdated, just needs to be redone, I found a few menu items just redundant. Why have two items the same listed if the only difference is one is baked and the other is not; confusing and silly. I gave the restaurant a 2 instead of a 1 but honestly it deserves less. I feel sympathy for the staff that is trying to make money in this poorly run, undesirable atmosphere, outdated surroundings with unpresentable menu items. The only good thing I could say is that this restaurant would be a superb candidate for a show that remakes your failing restaurant because it could really do with an...
Read moreThe food was delicious.. our appies were so good... my husband's entrée was delicious and he said that rack of lamb is his new favorite, however do to a miscommunication between my waitress and kitchen staff my order of ribeye steak and lobster wasn't made and instead ribs were made, when asked if I still wanted my original order I said yes please, so the waitress first brought out my potato and veggies then 15 to 20 mins brought out my steak and finally after another 5 to 10 mins my lobster came. Now I will say the food tasted delicious, and the waitress was very apologetic, I thought that the restaurant would at least discount my meal, unfortunately this didn't happen and even tho I am disappointed with my meal because by the time I gotthe whole meal I was too full to really even eat it. Today is my husband's and my 5th anniversary, we were looking forward to celebrating at this restaurant. We did pay in full as well as left a gratuity. Not to sure if I'll be back here anytime soon. Sincerely...
Read moreLow end of mediocre in everything. Waited over an hour and a half for our food, which was very bland. Costco frozen veggies with no seasoning or anything on them. Asked the waitress what some good GF/DF options would be, and she said itâs written in the menu. I said GF is noted but not DF. She said she didnât know and offered me pasta. And kept offering me pasta. And garlic bread. No, they do not have GF bread or pasta. But she said (meant as a positive) that the garlic bread was dairy free, because they use margarine instead of butter! And the chicken breast was cold. Like out-of-the-fridge cold. Atmosphere & decor: dark, old, dingy, tacky. Hard to tell who the staff are because theyâre dressed in street clothes, just whatever t-shirt they want that day. And why does everything come with a knife shoved into the food? Canât they just put them on the table like civilized people? Sorry, I love local business, but I...
