Pizza 73 — Restaurant in Camrose

(Five year old review) Insanely inappropriate

My friend and I were going to order a plant-based pepperoni pizza because she's vegan. she asked for a vegan pizza and he went to work. Halfway through we wondered if he was going put plantbased cheese because we didn't say to and figured we should clarify, our bad on that part. When we asked him if he could put dairy free cheese he started getting mad?? saying we didn't specify the cheese OR the pepperoni. She admitted and apologized that she didn't specify the Dairy free cheese but politely told that she did ask for plantbased pepperoni pizza. He started calling her a liar multiple times so she asked me if she was telling the truth to which he didn't let me respond saying I’d just agree with her on anything. He kept saying she was lying so I went up and tried to diffuse the situation by saying. "okay, we know now." But he just seemed to want to yell at us. Saying; "I'll finish the pizza if you admit that you are a liar." She didn't say that so he called her a liar a few more times then went to the back to finish the pizza.

When he came back to the front, we'd assumed that he was done talking down to us, but no. When he handed us the pizza he told us. "don't be a lair, lying is bad for you." So we took the pizza not saying anything and he followed us out the doors saying. "You've admitted you’re a liar now."

This was the worst experience I've ever had with another person. He was so unnecessarily aggressive and demeaning towards us over a misunderstanding, it's was insanely out of control.

Never go there, this dude is the worst.

We ordered a pizza online and received a message that it would be delivered aprox 6:15 tracking showed they had started to prepare it, then apparently the tracking had gone down! at 6:30 I phoned the store and they hadn't even started it! Ordered two donaires and waited inside for 30 minutes.

Both donors were completely cold, not microwaved, not grilled, cheese was unmelted. Decided to take my laser thermometer to it and it's sitting at 7° C.
