Haven't been here in over 10 yrs due to no longer visiting the area; however, purposely made a detour on return trip to Ontario, last week, just to get some cinnamon buns from Carlyle Bakery ... so glad we did. Enjoyed them on the drive bake, shared then with company this past weekend (said they were the best ever) and am now sitting here enjoying with afternoon tea. Cutest little small town bakery I have visited in a while! Unlike lots of municipal businesses and bakeries, Carlyle bakery had more than one staff member, and both gave lovely, personable customer service. The fresh baked buns and cinnamon buns I purchased were taken home to Moose Jaw and shared with multiple friends, all of whom absolutely loved them.
