The Office Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Carlyle

I came in with my boyfriend tonight after travelling all the way from Edmonton, AB for work. We came in and sat down, it took awhile before someone actually came over and spoke to us after making eye contact with us multiple times. When the waiter came up to me and was in no way professional. He didn’t introduce himself, ask how our night was or any genuine conversation starters proper waiters would typically use. After ordering a WATER he asked for my ID, so I obviously gave it to him. When he came back 10 minutes later with our drinks he looked at my ID for a long time and didn’t bother even looking at my boyfriends even though he ordered an alcoholic beverage. when our food came out, mine wasn’t even warm in the slightest. I am very disappointed that I spent my time here when I could have went to Dairy Queen down the street and got better...

My meal was great, no complaints! But, the person I was with had a few complaints. So I gave this a 3 star review. The person I was with had problems getting plain black tea. Also had mentioned that the fish and chips didn't come with a vegetable. Normally fish and chips comes with coleslaw. The person I was with also mentioned that the fish wasn't very good, and that the tarter sauce seemed a bit "off". I've eaten here many times, my experience has always been good. My service has always been good. I had the Greek salad (it was fantastic) the beer selection was very good too. It would be nice if they added a dark beer like Nokomis brown or Rebellion oatmeal stout. The 3 out of 5 stars on this is not a fair rating. I am only rating on this one experience. I will make sure i do a better job of giving the good ratings that it deserves on my good...

The place was great during my visit food was good as well, reason for my 3 stars was it took about 30min for us to get attended. We went as a group granted we started with 3 people at first but then slowly became a table of 6 people. Before waitress first came to the table there were some employees I believe that were behind the bar table that looked over and when I would look there way they turned head the other way, I don’t know why non of the two employees never came to ask if we needed something. The girl who was our waitress was great, nice and friendly made suggestions on specials and other dishes available. She was very attentive but not to much just right, will be going there with my wife again. Ordered the guacamole burger and Putin not a fan of the Putin they served but...
