What a terrible experience. I ordered 4 subs online through the app. After I picked up the subs in store and drove home (I don't live right in town), I found out 2 of 4 the subs were wrongly made. (There were onions & olives on a sub for a person that does not like those toppings & vise versa). I called subway immediately and informed them of the wrong subs and I asked if I could get the correct ones as per the order and then said I'd keep the incorrect ones (as other people at my house would eat them eventually). They insisted I bring in the wrong subs so they could check that they were wrong.. as if I'd be lying about that.. So I drove out of my way, back to subway. The worker then opened the subs and then proceeded to throw them out right infront of me. Nice. After he built the new subs, I asked if there would be any sort of complimentary/ on the house item for my gas milage of having to drive back and forth into town because of their mistakes.. I was told no because my order through the app already recieved a deal & that it is a "loss for their business". I said "really, not even a complimentary cookie or bag of chips". I was told no, but then they changed their mind and remembered there were some cookies outback that couldn't be sold as they were overcooked and dark from the morning. So I was given a few over cooked, hard cookies from outback.
Subway was too worried about taking a "loss for their business" rather than making it up to the customer who drove out of their way for their mistakes on the subs. What a joke. After working in the food industry myself for years, that is definitely not the way to treat customers.
I will most definitely not be back to this location. I will be driving much farther to a different subway rather than coming back here after being treated like this. Nor will my family & friends who were all waiting at my house for their subway lunch. They were just as shocked and insulted about this...
Read moreFrom the moment I stepped into this Subway, I knew my experience would be different. This location sets itself apart with its immaculate cleanliness, fresh atmosphere, and a remarkable sense of orderliness that is palpable as soon as you enter.
The highlight of my visit was interacting with Varun, a team member who exemplified what it means to be a customer service professional. Varun was not just an employee – he was the ultimate sandwich artist and an ambassador of the Subway brand. His attention to detail was evident in the way he curated every sandwich, ensuring that each one was a masterpiece of flavors and freshness.
Varun's product knowledge was impressive. He helped me navigate through the vast array of options, suggesting the perfect combination of fresh veggies and proteins that catered to my dietary preferences. His recommendation of the Italian B.M.T. on freshly baked Honey Oat bread was spot on – the sandwich was flavorful, and every ingredient tasted like it was chosen specifically for me.
But what truly set Varun apart was his warm demeanor and the genuine kindness he extended to every customer. He remembered regulars by name and greeted newcomers with a welcoming smile that made them feel at home. In a fast-paced world, Varun’s ability to make every interaction personal is a rare gift that does not go unnoticed.
Moreover, his meticulousness with cleanliness was beyond the norm. Even during a lunchtime rush, he ensured that the serving and dining areas were spotless, providing a dining experience that felt safe and comfortable in these health-conscious times.
This location is a testament to how a dedicated staff can elevate the fast-food dining experience to something memorable and worth repeating. I'll be coming back not just for the quality subs, but for the top-tier service that Varun and his...
Read moreI don't go to Millbrook often and if it had more eateries that I'm familiar with, I wouldn't go to this Subway. On previous visits I've had stale bread and "tummy trouble" after eating there. This visit I ordered a more premium sub to get away from the cold meat that I suspected gave me tummy trouble the last time I ate there. I got the beef brisket and asked it to be made stock, except for green pepper which doesn't agree with me. Sure enough, when building the sub he loaded it down with green pepper. When I started to tell him about the mistake, he took his hand and slid the green peppers off and continued on. As a person who completed the food handling course, I know he should have asked if it was an allergy, in which case he has to start again. He said nothing. At the end during the payment phase, their debt machine is set up to encourage a big tip. A no tip option is in the very smallest font at the bottom of the screen. I know that tipping is a big topic right now. I'm just mentioning it so you can be informed; how you feel about it...
