Good selection of coffees, teas, cold drinks and food items like samosas, sausage rolls and sandwiches. The sandwiches were expensive at $14, with hardly any protein inside. The bread was quite dried out, didn’t taste any better than those premade sandwiches you’d get at the supermarket. The coffee, however, was simply terrible. I don’t know if it was an off day or just poor barista, but my coffee was so bitter and tasted burnt that I spat it out at first sip. I asked my wife to taste, she was absolutely disgusted too. Too bad we were already on the road when I tasted it, I would’ve taken it back for sure. If this is the quality of the coffee then I wouldn’t believe the reviews.

I was biking out to Sidney, and decided to stop by for the first time to check it out. I came in, and the first thing that wowed me was the absolute scale of the menu. From ice cream sandwhiches, to 5+ special drinks, to baked goods, this cafe has it all. I ordered the Carmel Frappe, which was PACKED with caramel! It was delicious, creamy, and sweet with a perfect balance of bitterness to sweetness. When I asked what they put in the Frappe, they were more then glad to show me how to make it, as so I could make it at home. If your biking to Sidney, or to Victoria, or Vice versa, you MUST stop here! I will be stopping again soon, and trying out more of the incredible menu!

What an amazing little find. We sold our house and staying at a nearby hotel and Googled nearby coffee houses and this place showed up so decided to check it out. When you first arrive you see a beautiful outdoor patio with a cute mini waterfall and lots of green. Very tastefully decorated decor inside and out. The customer service was soooo friendly. They offer non dairy options for beverages, pastries and fresh made sandwiches which hit the spot. We had the Chai Latte and the Macha Latte and both were perfectly done. I will definitely be a return customer.

This cafe was the highlight of our trip to the island! A group of 4 of us went, and got iced lattes and a matcha latte. We also decided to eat breakfast there, the chicken sandwich was an absolute 10/10, the melted brie was incredible. The drinks were delicious, too, but most of all the staff was extremely kind and helpful. My friends had tried a cinnamon bun, a breakfast sandwich, and another dessert, and they all felt just as impressed as I was.

Also, it's in such a nice area that's very close to nearby beaches and walks, with parking, car charging, and a cute playground.

Beyond all of this though, later in the afternoon when we were in the Ferry line, I realized I had lost my wallet. I called and they had it. They went above and beyond and shipped it back to me the next day without asking for anything in return so I wouldn't have to miss the ferry. I can't believe the quality matches the kindness.

Can't recommend this cafe enough! (get the...

Found my new coffee stop.for sure. On my way to Sidney today the Marigold Cafe caught my eye. Only been open 3 weeks and this place is going to do well..Had two lattes and a cinimon bun. South facing patio their gold mine.

Will add though after visiting many times since I posted my first review, it would be nice if the servers weren't in such a panic to leave as close to 4pm as they can that they loose consideration. If a person happens to be sitting outside and it is 3:47pm expect the LOUD chair banging & scrapping on the cement as they push the chairs in on the tables. Because at 3:57pm they want to be already able to chain the tables and chairs. And at that time they verbally tell you "we are closing now". (Indicating please leave so they can lock up patio furniture. I get it that people don't want to work overtime BUT many of us have had jobs that that's just the way it is after customers go home. Maybe Starbucks is a...

I recently visited a charming little cafe that exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy seating and soft lighting that made it the perfect spot to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest felt welcome.

I ordered a cappuccino and a slice of their homemade carrot cake, and both were outstanding. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed, with just the right balance of rich espresso and frothy milk. The carrot cake was moist and flavorful, topped with a creamy frosting that was simply delicious.

What really stood out to me was the attention to detail in everything they served. From the presentation of the food to the quality of the ingredients, it was clear that the cafe takes pride in what they offer. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great coffee and delightful treats, this cafe is...
