I went for dinner with my husband to this place, it was our first time since 2003 that we live here. First of all, the staff seemed eager to serve you. We ordered the spring rolls (2), a large soup and dinner (my husband was not very hungry). When the order came the waiter placed the spring rolls in the middle of the table and returned to the kitchen. We had to wait at least 5 minutes for him to came back and asked for two small plates to continue eating. When the large soup came, we asked an additional for a small bowl and he brought a large salad bowl ! At this point, my husband was very annoying and refused to eat. This bad experience continued with a bill for $35.00? (For 1 person) practically. They anted me to pay $10.95 for a large soup. When I asked why? the waiter told me that I needed to talk the owner.. Before I had the chance to do so, a girl came and offer me to pay $8.00 for the soup. I said that, never in my life I would pay that much money for a "noodle soup" and I told her that at "Chez Lien" I pay $6.95 and end of discussion. Then she changed the Bill to $28.00 (1 person) and I left. I will never go back there, even if it's the last place in Châteauguay to eat. People think money come from trees and they can scam the world because most of us don't like confrontations and rather pay and not go back. It's time to support our money and not give it away just...
Read moreI've given this restaurant 1 star because the food was tasteless.
From the wonton soup, which was water, to the hot sauce which tasted like pizza sauce with a bit of chili flakes in it.
Chicken teriyaki was a frozen piece of white meat with grill marks on one side blanched on the other yuk with freezer burn taste. A heap if soggy vegetables with a hint of teriyaki water taste.
Imperial roll not fresh made again freezer burn taste, sauce was rice vinegar with a bit of water and sugar disgusting.
Go anywhere else, avoid this restaurant!!!
Oh the white rice...
Read moreUnfortunately this review gets 1 star simply due to the disrespectful service. My work team ate there today (Sept 26th 2024) at lunch. The service was long, but we were a big group. It was fine until I asked our waitress if those who had received incomplete meals (ex. General tao chicken but no rice) would receive the rest of their meal, as she was serving everyone else’s complete plate. She responded with the most condescending tone that “as i could see, she only had two arms”. An intern of mine had to intervene and tell her I had simply...
