Mon beau pays — Restaurant in Châteauguay

We have just partaken in an outstanding meal at this little gem of a place! The place was packed-it's a Wednesday night during a heat wave. That says it all, if you've ever worked in the restaurant biz. We had the Ceasar salad and meatballs to start. Tangy, creamy, crunchy fresh goodness as far as the salad went. Beautiful meatball perfection, as far as the meatballs went. Perfectly seasoned, dense and generous in size. Just as I like them. The sauce was a fresh, sweet and simple delight. Bullseye! We followed with tortelinni à la Gigi and Pizza Matteo. Amazing stuff, full of the aforementioned freshness and complexity. The portions are very generous, so plan ahead! For the past 2 years we've had the pleasure of frequenting Mon Beau Pays, a local Italian gem that always leaves us thoroughly impressed. We ate here for the first time on December 8 2023 on a whim.

It was just amazing. The freshly made authentic Italian pizza was incredible and the Tiramasu was just.... delicious.

They offer catering, pizza, pasta, sandwiches and more and they have a nice cozy seating area. The staff was friendly and very welcoming too.

They only accept cash or interac and I think the $10 cost ( vs $7 on their printed menus) for the tiramasu was the only things that I thought were not to satisfaction. It also seems all of their pricing on their printed menus is wrong or not updated.

Overall we would not hesitate to return and eat here regularly... a must try and a rare gem in...
