Stopped here on our way from Montreal to Ottawa - specifically because this is an independent coffee shop and cafe and because it was mentioned in a recent Louise Penny book called The Grey Wolf. I got a turkey sandwich with Brie and cranberry and my wife had leek and potato soup and both were really good. I got a flat white which used coffee from a local roaster called Totem that was also quite good. The shop carries a few miscellaneous gift Knick knacks as well. Cozy spot and friendly service. Definitely recommend!

This is such a lovely spot to get coffee for a morning pick-me-up! The people behind the counter are thoughtful & friendly, the coffee is fresh and well priced (for iced coffees, they use coffee ice cubes!), and the ambiance is very cozy. There's also a "shop" area with home goods/products you can browse through. Definitely a must-stop for coffee if you're in the area!

The most welcoming atmosphere, great taste, can't differentiate which one is better. Feel free to taste whatever you want. They are all very delicious. Coffee is amazing, not too strong, not burned taste nor weak flavor. Just perfect As a beekeeper, I appreciated the goods in their boutique, unique pieces.

So a friend I work with recommended this place. I stopped in not really sure what to expect but I found a quaint little coffee shop bakery that has a very down home feel to it. I tried a few things and have to say I’m hooked. It sells all locally sourced stuff and it tastes great. I also am the type of person that has coffee as a food group so I am hesitant when branching out in that area but I gave it a try. The coffee tastes great, no bitterness or aftertaste. The price for the coffee is equal as appealing as the coffee. A small black which is about the size of a normal coffee was only 2 bucks for a local coffee which is a great price. The baked goods are also equally as amazing both in taste and price. If your in Vankleek Hill check it out , it’s directly acrossed from the...

There are COVID-19 safety measures in place, such as a hand wash station when you walk in This is a newer local gem of Vankleek Hill. Always friendly service, local Totem coffee is served here along with delicious baked treats. They also serve(in the summer) Kawartha ice cream. They have recently renovated and expanded more of their retail space, they offer such things as gorgeous aprons, for both adults and even kids, funny mugs, Christmas items and even homemade dog treats. If you ever decide to get out of the house for a trip and you’re passing through Vankleek Hill I would absolutely recommend stopping here for a coffee, sandwich, or even just a chocolate...
