BOOMburger — Restaurant in Charlottetown

My daughter's comments:

There were some negative things that happened BOOMburger and positive things about the restaurant.

Positive things first, the meat was delicious! The cheese too! It's made from real natural beef and cows! That's what made it so delicious.

The negative thing were not so good on the other hand. First off they messed up my order just a bit. I asked for hot sauce and received hot peppers, they weren't even spicy. Is that hard to tell the difference?

Another negative thing was when my dad went to get some soda that was included with his burger. Out of the blue, the machine spewed out the Pepsi and it got all over his shirt, shorts, arms, shoes, face, and eyeglasses! Now obviously he was furious! So he demanded a refund and the cashier looked at him shaking their head while giggling. Then my dad demanded talking the manager and got his refund.

BUT the food was heavenly delicious!!

I am not one to write reviews, least of all for a fast food experience. I was extremely satisfied with the exceptional, above-and-beyond service that I received at BOOMburger today.

I was out for lunch with a friend (who by the way had never been to BB), I ordered a poutine and was picking up another poutine order for takeout. When asked "for here or to go" I said one for here and one to go. While they were preparing our meals, one of the employees called out to suggest preparing the second poutine once we were ready to leave, to which I replied extatically "yes, please".

On top of that excellent service, when we were set to leave, I looked at the cook who began packing up the to-go order. While handing me the fresh poutine, he asked how the food was in a genuine way and told us both to have a great day, which left us walking out of the restaurant discussing this amazing service that we had just...

This is based on the food and price. The service was excellent and the place was very clean and well kept.

I am a resident of PEI, as were the two people with me for dinner. Our first time to eat at Boom Burger. I am sad to say, also our last.

We ordered 3 single patty cheese burgers (2 had bacon), a medium fry and small fry. Plus 3 fountain drinks. $47!!!!

After waiting for our meal number to be called, we take our food out of the bag and dig in. My burger was a no-bacon burger. $7.95. Just the burger. A tiny piece of mozza cheese and the usual toppings. There was nothing special at all to justify a price of $7.95 for this burger. NOTHING. Then the taste of it was just off-putting.

My guests had the same feeling with their baco cheese burgers.

The fries and drinks were alright. Covered the burger taste in our mouths. But still nothing to make me want to pay the price for them....
