The Well Public House at Elements Casino Chilliwack — Restaurant in Chilliwack

Went to the Well a few times and every time the service for dinner or a drink has been bad. I keep trying to defend the place by saying they are busy or now renovations are happening, but last Friday was horrible. We got there for happy hour at 505 and at 540 we still had no menu or acknowledgement that we were even sitting there. I say 5 pf the staff standing around talking so I walked up and asked for service to be told someone will be right with us. -- Nothing! We then asked another waitress to send over ours and she smiled to say she would, but watched he go to the till and never talk to anyone.

finally just before 6 we got a waitress who gives us menus and takes our drink order. We ask to have the Happy hour menu to be told that there is really no time to place an order as its almost 6!

Yes, although we explained we were there from 505 pm, she told us she was doing the best she could.

We did get happy hour - one drink as it was 6 pm but no smile and we really felt like we were putting her out by being there.

I try to go to local places but really is this what I want to take out of town people too?

Please if you could just smile and say "Sorry we are short staffed or busy or something" so we know its ok for us...

Service was not great .got seated at 7:55 pm after looking at the menu we seen that it was roast beef night so we tried to order that but now it was 8:05 pm and the waitress said it was over at 8:00 pm so she went to ask the cook if we could still have the roast beef dinner she came back and said sorry but it’s after 8:00 even tho we were seated at 7:55 I mean the waitress never even mentioned the special so we said ok then we will have the beef dips thinking that it would be fresh because it was roast beef night ...but sorry to say when it arrived there was a piece of plastic rap I found in my beef dip not sure how old the beef was but it was old tasted so horrible I couldn’t eat it tho the salad we had was good the fries we ok and they charged us for 2 fountain drinks but we only ordered one ..and the restaurant was empty so if your reading this if you can don’t eat here it’s a expensive total FAIL cost us $ 72.80 for total sub standard food .!by the way I was on vacation not impressed they should change they’re name to...

Very disappointed with our Thanksgiving turkey dinner. The meal was served with only a small portion of vegetables, about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce, a thin slice of stuffing, and barely any gravy. The mashed potatoes were quite dry, so we asked for a little more gravy but were told it would cost an extra $3.

While we don’t mind paying for good food, it’s disappointing that such a basic part of the meal wasn’t included in reasonable portions. A holiday meal like this should feel hearty and satisfying, not limited or incomplete. It really left us questioning whether this was done intentionally to charge extra, which takes away from what should have been a warm, enjoyable...
