After the realization that the pizza I delivered was raw, I tried calling back only to have to wait half an hour for someone to just answer the phone. When I finally did get through I told them about my situation and they were very skeptical and seemed to believe I was lying them. After assuring them I had only taken two bites of one slice they offered to send me a new pizza and exchange it for the old one to ensure I was telling the truth. However, because this ordeal had already taken up an hour of my time I asked for a discount, I thought $10 off of a $30 order was a reasonable amount and after some back and forth they finally agreed to give me a $10 refund and a new pizza. I waited another half hour for my new pizza and refund to arrive. When it finally did arrive the delivery man did not have a refund for me (not his fault) and told me that he had not been instructed to do so. Obviously confused I called the store (on the delivery guys phone) and spoke to the manager. She tried to deny giving me a refund and had now wanted to give me a $10 credit towards my next purchase. By this time I was not happy and told her I had no plans to ever order a pizza from them again and that a $10 credit was useless to me. She again tried to offer me a $10 credit and when I refused she simply hung up the phone on me, a paying customer. The entire time this was going on the delivery man was laughing at the incompetence of his manager and after looking at the pizza he himself determined it was raw. So finally I had to drive down to the restaurant to ask for my $10 refund, upon seeing me enter the restaurant with a pizza box in my hands and making the logical conclusion I was the guy off the phone she again told me there was no way I could possibly get a discount. I gave her the new pizza back untouched and asked her for a full refund and finally she got mad, opened the till, threw 10 dollars at me and said fine now get out of here. Finally after an hour and 45 minutes I was back home and able to eat my pizza. Not once did I verbally abuse or threaten her in any way because I think that is completely uncalled for and upon receiving my money I said "thank you, have a nice evening." yet she still felt compelled to mistreat me. Needless to say, I will never order from Pizza Hut again and I am simply appalled at the disrespect and sheer rudeness shown by a manager to a customer. The food was great, the delivery time was fast and I was happy. I have it another try (eat in this time) once again the food was pretty good, they only had 1 waitress during lunch hour and they were busy so that was kind of dumb. But last night I ordered another delivery request. Food was excellent, the order was big and delivery time was 40min sooner than I was quoted. I also got a free upgrade to bone in wings because they didn't have boneless wings. So I thought credit is due, Pizza hut in Cold Lake has improved. they are 3 for 3 over the past few months. Finally get through the phone to place an order, they also cant find my address (Domino's has no problem finding it online). I get transferred to the customer service line to fix the issue. She manages but I cant place the order I want because it's an online deal only. She said she'll transfer me to the store to speak with them directly so that I can place my order and get the deal that way. No one ever picked up the phone.
