Subway — Restaurant in City of Cold Lake

We have been to this subway quite a few times. We live 45 mins away from cold lake in sask and this is our go to always. Tonight we made a run in and saw the awesome renovation that was done!! Looks great! We went in around 9 pm and there was one guy all by himself but let me tell you from start to finish the service was absolutely top notch!! Give that man a raise! We weren't all the way in the door and already he was greeting us. Interacted with us the entire time talked about everything under the sun lol. Very friendly and interactive made us feel very welcome!. Made our 3 subs perfect. With just the right amount of veggies etc. Over all perfection on food service and atmosphere!. Wish I would have gotten the guys name because he truly deserves a raise and he was all by himself but was quick!. We will be back again! Also I will mention impressed with how clean everything was. I think this is the best Subway I've ever been to. I can't be 100% sure cause I've been to a lot but I'm pretty sure. First time I went to this location, it was packed with a lineup around the dining area and potential customers leaving because they didn't want to wait in such a long lineup. You can only get to this many customers all at once because of the quality of your product. The second time I went, I was alone in the restaurant until another customer walked in half way through my order being completed. Both times we're no different however in the quality of my food and the type of service I received. The staff here can really work under pressure and adapt to different situations and the level of quality of the food and the customer service does not change from one visit to another regardless of how busy it is. I recently acquired terrible food poisoning that lasted from 12 am to 6 am, vomiting all night, to the point I saw blood in my vomit for the first time. This happened after having a chicken teriyaki sub, now realizing the food poisoning was due to the chicken not being stored in the correct, safe temperature range and became infected with bacteria. I went in around 4:30 pm to grab a quick bite before work, and I'm assuming the chicken I had was the same chicken that was prepared and stored at store opening, many hours earlier. That many hours not stored in a refrigerator will cause the chicken to contract dangerous bacteria. For the sake of my health, I won't be eating...
