1 Star: Service and Quality Needs Serious Attention
I still believe in service with a smile and some semblance of politeness. Unfortunately, there was none here. The staff were chirpy, short, and unfriendly. A simple "hello," "thank you," "how are you," or "enjoy your meal" goes a long way. While this lack of courtesy is sadly becoming the norm, it wasn’t the sole reason for this one-star review—it certainly didn’t help, though.
What We Ordered We went through the drive-thru and ordered:
Two lettuce-wrapped Teen Burgers Two onion rings One Coke What Happened When the very rude attendant handed me the Coke, it was dripping with pop all over the sides and onto my new truck. There was no apology or acknowledgment—just indifference. Thankfully, I had tissues in the glovebox to clean it up, but that shouldn’t have been necessary.
Then, he shoved the bag of food at me with the same lack of care. We drove away, but I stopped in the parking lot to check the food.
My Lettuce-Wrapped Burger: The sleeve with the burger in it was sideways and the paper was ripped and , and the burger spilled all over the bag. I cleaned it up as best I could, only to find there were no napkins provided. My Wife’s Lettuce-Wrapped Burger was a mess. Two small pieces of lettuce on one side and a thick but small chunk of lettuce on the other. To top it off, the bacon was raw. She had to eat it straight out of the bag—it was laughable. The Onion Rings: Overcooked in old oil, they were a mushy, greasy, stinky, doughy disaster—the worst onion rings I’ve ever had. The Experience We laughed at how ridiculous the entire experience was, but it’s no joke when you’re paying for something that lacks even the bare minimum of quality or care.
A Note to the Owners Get involved and care about your restaurant! This was a frustrating and disappointing...

Okay, so I came with my family today, spent $60. They only replaced the cost of the burger, not the meal they ruined the first time. You ask for a Momma burger with cheese and bacon... I have one question, where's the bacon? One tiny strip of bacon! Really? This is what restaurants are now resorting to? You have the audacity to raise the prices for this garbage you call food! Shameful!!!! I get things are costing more, what I don't understand is how or why you you insist on disappointing the only thing that keeps you in business? Your customers! Thank you for helping me to see that A and W is a giant rip off and sealing your fate for us as a family to stop supporting a corporation that is like every other! It's time to stop supporting corporations that do not respect their customers! As for your survey, we spent far too much for a a less than desirable lunch! Nothing appealing about being ripped off! It is just not worth eating at restaurants like this A and W and has proven to customers to spend their hard earned money where they are...
Read moreI went to this location like I always do in the morning drive through 510am Asked for a sausage and eager and a hash brown the usual order. When I got back to my office I noticed there was no egg on my sandwich so I called the store to mention it . That’s when she said that they did put an egg on my sandwich I said again that she didn’t she began to say that I am not telling the truth unacceptable!!!!! I told I would send a picture she replied your are lying omg I asked her repeatedly what her name was I need to speak with management she replied she can’t give out her name or the manager and argued again that I am not telling the truth.. that’s when I realized her name is on the receipt. I have never in my life been called out and I am lying who ever is running this location should be ashamed of the kind of staff that is dealing with with a loyal customer of at least 40 years everyday and during the week at this location because I live in Leduc and other locations. WOW wow brutal maybe there is more friendly service next door in a restaurant/ fast food that just opened Leduc don’t need this kind of negativity and lack of respect towards paying loyal...
