Maggie's Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Leduc

Went to Maggie’s pizzeria today for food was the food was delicious prior to my today visit before the new management. Came home with a pizza garlic bread and 12 mild wings. With sweet sauce. When I got home the pizza was disgusting burnt and the sweet sauce was cheap with sour cream and sugar. Called him and he said that it must of been a mistake to come back and he would give us a new order of wings and donair sauce. When I arrived back to the store. We actually told me that he cut the pizza himself and that it wasn’t black like that that I must of got that pizza somewhere else basically saying I lied, plus that they gave us 12 wings but the four extra wings we didn’t have must of dropped into the fryer by accident. Which is a lie. Basically called me a lier for saying I got 8 wings. Then to have him say I don’t want you in my store anymore and tell me to leave when all I wanted was my money back. My husband and I decided to take a break and have food delivered to our motel in Leduc. We found a brochure in our room for Maggie’s Pizza. We called and ordered Maggie’s Super Combo. The price on Brochure was $38.99. Decent deal, so okay.

Food shows up on time, hot and perfect to our order. The problem was that were were asked to pay almost $53.00. I called and spoke to the manager who said that the increase was legit because food prices have gone up 25%. The brochures were old and needed to be replaced. While I completely understand that, he knew we were calling from a motel and should’ve mentioned that there was an increase. All he would’ve had to do was tell us on the phone so we could make an informed decision on the $14.00 difference. He agreed with me and very quickly charged the advertised price. While in Leduc for work, my hotel was conveniently beside Maggie's Pizza.

I ordered online through their website, and that was also conveniently easy and straightforward.

I ordered my go-to pizza when I am alone, one medium 2 topping pizza. Within 2 minutes after I placed my order, I got a call saying they were out of their medium pizzas dough at the moment, and they were going to honor my price and upgrade it to a large. Spending extra effort to call and tell me that says a lot about what kind of business they are trying to run. A business where customers are their most important ingredients.

That call alone made the whole experience great from the start. The pizza was tasty and is worth its price.
