Mr Bill's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Lloydminster

We went as a family with little kids and a disabled individual. Staff very pleasant. 4/5 Cost 4/5 Premises 4.5/5 clean and well lit Food - mixed reviews appetizers mushroom caps and spinach dip very good -1) lobster tail meal 2/5 did not deliver the garlic butter, tail overcooked( I assume it started out frozen), veg ok, but the accompanying rice very flavourless. 2) chicken Caesar salad 4/5 3) kids fish and chips 4.5/5 4) kids combo plate ok 5) burger and onion soup - burger overcooked to the point of being charred.2/5 The saltiness of the soup I’d say was open to personal taste. Drinks for the kids were missed but there was water on the table.

They were a bit busy. Not sure if they had newer staff. Unsure if I’d go back....

Always enjoyed Mr. Bill's & we have been going there for years when we wanna splurge on a good meal. However, our experience this past Sunday evening was not so great. Service was good but food was disappointing.... escargot tasteless; ribs more bone than meat & kinda tuf; what has been one of favorite for years...liver with bacon & onions - also kinda tateless; my sister in laws burger had old tomatoes slices that tasted horrible; lemon rice soup was off. There were 16 of us & most had same opinion. Those who had lobster said it was good. I spoke with a lady who i think is the current owner & asked her if they had new cooks. She asked why & I told her what I said above. Didn't even get an apology let alone get a discount. Very...

We stopped in for dinner with the family while visiting Lloydminster. The restaurant was fairly quiet on a Thursday night. The staff were extremely friendly and prompt. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. Our children chose the grilled cheese with fries and the Hawaiian pita pizza. They really enjoyed their meals. My wife and I both went with the taco salad with chicken breast. The taco salads were quite large and made in a fresh taco bowl which was very delicious. The chicken breast was very nicely seasoned as well. The portions are quite large as I was the only one that was able to finish my meal, we took some of the children's meals with us. We'll definitely be stopping at Mr. Bill's again the next time...
