I really wanted to like this place. I read all of the incredible reviews and decided to stop by one night for dinner, feeling excited to see what all the hype was about. For some context, I am a shawarma/pita enthusiast, I have tried just about every pita place you can name across the GTA.
Upon arrival JP seemed like a great guy, and recommended the pork and falafel which my partner and I were excited to try. When it got time to add sauces I asked him what he has available, he said “whatever you want”, I then awkwardly asked again (had no idea what sauces they have there) and he said the same thing jokingly. Look, there is a time in place for the humour but when a customer genuinely has no idea the sauces you have available it would make sense to give them an idea of what there is instead of the jokes over and over. I saw what looked like tzatziki and said I’ll have that then asked if he had tahini which he put on as well. At this point I am frustrated because I usually like load up my pita with lots of sauces, but sadly he kept saying I can have “whatever I want” instead of explaining the menu to me.
Now for the taste test. It was dry, bland, and honestly not fresh tasting at all unlike every positive review I read on here. The meat tasted dry and old, the wraps had barely a teaspoon of sauce on each and the veggies were soggy.
Look, I’m not a complainer, I rarely leave reviews on Google, but this experience was just such a polar opposite of the reviews, so just wanted to share my experience to hopefully have the owner rethink the way he...

The food is expensive and not very good for that price point, a wrap is 30$. Guy makes a joke about getting a wrap the size of a Chinese baby… quality over quantity. The tzatziki is for sure old and has been sitting around for a long time. The only thing fresh is I BELIEVE the chicken and even that I’m not sure because it’s not off a spit it’s in a steamed vat.
If you’re ordering a gyro just be aware it’s not a Greek gyro which is all pork if you actually have one in Greece. It’s more frozen unknown meat slices with off tasting tzatziki. The meat is grilled quickly and lightly warmed but when warming the meat from frozen it becomes very soggy.
What he calls “Tzatziki” is not actually Tzatziki either, it’s some sort of sour cream based sauce with dill in it… Tzatziki is Yogurt based but unfortunately that would mean he has to make it fresh. ;)
Personally I would not recommend this place and if you go here based on the positive reviews please mention when you realize it’s inedible
The old man is funny but you don’t have to talk too much if you have good food.
Lastly I wanna do an investigation on review bots for this place. All the reviews under 3 stars seem to align perfectly with reality whereas everything 4 and over is over exaggerated.. anyways...
