Everything here is wonderful. The reason for the poor rating is the coffee. It is a coffee shop, so I expected, (especially being Creemore) that the coffee would be a good cuppa. Not so much. I wasn’t going to rate, because I didn’t want to give a bad review, but a long time old family local, insisted I do and agreed that the coffee available in the landmark of Creemore, should be of the best! Peace ✌🏽
Hi Nancy, the only way I could respond, it seems, is to edit my review.. 🤔 My coffee was a decaf latte, with almond milk.. While some may claim decaf is not “real” 😏😉 I have been to other coffee places where I get a rich, good, strong coffee, even though decaf espresso. I found the coffee otherwise. It was quite a weak coffee flavor, as well the latte foamy “milk” top was not dense and thick. Too air-y. (The way it’s done at ep cwd)
Read moreThe cupcakes that have frosting on top are just sitting at room temperature, so unrefridgerated. That says to me that the frosting either has no dairy in it (ie Duncan Hines frosting which is just an oil product) or it does have dairy (made from scratch) but will spoil in the heat of the cafe itself. Either way, eww... especially when you see flies just roaming around in the cafe and the workers seemed like they were used to the presence of the flies. That same day we went to the nearby pub and a bunch of other stores and none of them had flies, so why did they have flies? We were going to try to enjoy our coffee sitting inside but it was insanely hot in the cafe = no air conditioner. It was more comfortable being outside than inside. So we went onto their cute little patio in front but while we just sat down one of the cafe workers said they have to close the patio (it was a little after 3pm at that point). I wasn't going to do a review but you treat your customers that horribly AND have a terrible environment, it just...
Read moreI was very excited to come here as a friend had raved about it and their burgers, so when my father came to visit for the weekend, I thought it fun to bring him here on Sunday. I had told him that they were known for their burgers, as mentioned on their sign outside. When we went to order, my father (who has a Spanish accent) asked for the burger. The women working behind the counter glared at him, asked him three times to repeat herself, not undertaking with his accent apparently, then told him: we don’t have burgers, that’s only on Sunday, can’t you read the sign?!” . I was taken back on how rude she was and so embarrassed that I had brought my father here. I totally understand that burgers are only on Friday, that wasn’t the problem, but how she had told my dad off about it. It was such a disappointment and I hope the owner knows how their staff is speaking to people and does...
