We had a lovely stop at this charming cafe while on a long road trip. Such a lovely stop, in fact, that we stopped a second time on our way home! I would give it six stars if I could.
The cafe is easy to miss - it is tucked away on the south side of Cariboo highway two stores west of McDonald. It is well worth looking for!
The homecooked sandwiches in the Interior. I would highly recommend the slow-cooked pork sandwich and Mexican coffee. Tres Leche cake makes for a perfect dessert. Hibiscus tea for the caffeine-disinclined.
For atmosphere, marvel at the owner Matthew's lovingly restored jukebox to the left of the door. Put on a song! It was incredible to see such a piece of history still pumping out tunes.

Authentic Mexican food, absolutely amazing Mexican coffee. Mother and son running it. Had some great chats with them while waiting. Such attentive, friendly service. The menu is intentionally kept small and authentic, prices are so reasonable, and our food was delicious! Conversation was genuine and light.
