We went through the drive through, paid at the first window and then moved up to the second window. Once we were there, the young man working told us the payment didn’t go through at the first window, we thought this was odd but sure- it happens. We were then told that we drove by the first window and didn’t actually pay initially (after we paid a second time) which is very different than saying a payment didn’t go through. Then out of precaution checked our bank app, there were two Wendy’s charges for two different amounts. So we showed them both transactions and asked why we were charged two different prices and that we want our money back. I asked for a printed out copy of all of the receipts and we were told that the systems down, so asking if we could get a debit receipt, apparently that system was down also (which if it’s down, we wouldn’t have been able to pay with debit- so this was a lie). This whole process from ordering to paying a second time took 15-20 minutes. While we were asking for the receipts, a young female staff member in the back says ‘oh my god just leave, you’re holding up the line’, while the manager told her to be quiet, that was the only time the manger really stepped in, aside from looking at our banking app to see both transactions.
Now, we get it, things happen, but there was 0 apologies for double charging us, lying to us and then the comments said.
I get that customers are not always right but customer service was a 0/5 all around.
We were told we could only get a refund in cash and we were given the lesser amount of the two charges back in cash (no one could give us an itemized receipt to prove that was what we were owed) and we left.
Food was cold, no sauce for the chicken strips but the iced tea was cold.

Read moreIf I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. A few months ago we went on a Friday night and the service was just terrible. Our food was bad, the staff were rude and we waited 45 minutes for our food. Today, we decided to give it a try again. It was just past the lunch rush at around 130pm. We ordered 2 meals. The fries for both were cold. My husband’s burger had a 1 inch by 1 inch piece of lettuce on it and so much sauce that it was almost impossible to eat. The condiment station is located directly beside the garbage cans (nothing like getting ketchup next to over flowing garbage cans) so I asked the staff for some ketchup packets. The ketchup dispenser was covered in crud and clearly hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time. The gentleman behind the counter rolled his eyes so hard at me.
But the worst part of this restaurant is the staff. They are rude. Multiple staff members had VERY dirty uniforms (not just regular work mess but clearly wasn’t clean when they showed up to work this morning), the bathrooms are gross and I had to find someone to wipe my table down because not a single one was clean (another eye roll experience). While waiting for my food, the staff were standing around discussing who could body slam who. They were extremely loud yelling at each other from across the restaurant. Absolutely wild behaviour. Read moreMy partner and I decided that after a stressful day, we'd enjoy having Wendy's for our dinner. We didn't realize that going out of our way to go to the drive through was such an inconvenience to those working tonight. Upon getting to the drive through speaker, my partner was greeted by a very nasty teenager who made it all too clear they didn't wanna be there and didn't want to help us. After giving our orders and being rushed along during the whole time, we were told they had no drinks and yet they still charged us for it which makes no sense to me. We ordered baconators and when we got home, we realized we were given Dave's doubles with small fries when we ordered large fries. I'm sick and tired of this Wendy's location contuinely, purposely, showing no interest in being a food establishment. We will NEVER be eating at this location ever again, unless something changes. I've never had worse service in my life and its so saddening this is the only Wendy's location here, because I for sure would still eat at Wendy's if I knew the employees were going to do their job. I hope Wendy's sees this, and conducts a thorough investigation into this location. I know Wendy's are franchised, and maybe that's the issue here, maybe the franchise owner doesn't care and ignores his business, in which case, is very sad.
